Huizhou Museum was established in January 1982 and moved to the former site of Fenghu Academy in 1999. Located on the beautiful Fenghu Peninsula of West Lake, this is the former site of Fenghu Academy founded in the second year of Baoyou in the Southern Song Dynasty (1254). So far there is still a stone inscription couplet written by Song Xiang, a talented man in Guangdong in the Qing Dynasty: "Humanistic ancient Zou Lu, landscape and small Pengying". This union made the most general description of the long history of Huizhou's outstanding people.

Huizhou Museum is located on the Fenghu peninsula of the beautiful West Lake. This is the former site of Fenghu Academy, which was founded in the second year of Baoyou in the Southern Song Dynasty (1254). There is still a stone carving couplet written by Song Xiang, a talented Guangdong scholar in Qing Dynasty: "Humanity Ancient Zou Lu, Shanshui Xiaopengying". This union made the most general description of the long history of Huizhou's outstanding people. The exhibition area of Huizhou Museum has 4 floors. The exhibits are not too many. The treasure of the town hall is a stone mill from the Tang Dynasty. In addition to various locally unearthed exhibits, it focuses on the celebrities and their deeds in Huizhou in the past. The most famous one is Su Dongpo, who "eats 300 lychees every day and is a native of Lingnan".
Big big drop. Clean environment, spacious and bright service attitude is good
Visit the Huizhou Museum with friends. Although Huizhou was basically a barren land before the Yuan Dynasty, Guangdong has become the most economically developed area in China since modern times. Since Lingnan was relatively backward in ancient times, there are not many heavyweight cultural relics in Huizhou Museum, but you can learn about the city's historical latitude and longitude by visiting the museum. I visit local museums in every city. [Not simple]
It's worth going! Especially suitable for children and the elderly, the air is so fresh
