City Park
Datun Park is located in the west of Fukuoka City. The park is built around the moat of Fukuoka Castle. Facilities such as the Japanese Garden, Noh Hall, Fukuoka City Art Museum, and restaurants are available in the park. It is one of the few water parks in Japan, with a pond that connects four green islands with a bridge. The poolside is filled with weeping willows and swaying rhododendrons, adding a beautiful atmosphere to the park. The fireworks meeting with Otsuka Park as the venue is also one of the events of the Fukuoka people in the summer.
Dazaifu Tenmangū Shrine

Temple
The Dazaifu Tenmangū Shrine is located in Fukuoka Prefecture's Dazaifu City. This shrine was built around the grave of Sugawara no Michizane. Together with Kyoto's Kitano Tenmangū Shrine, it is the main site of Japanese Tenjin worship. Sugawara was an influential university student during Japan's Heian period. As a result, many of the people who come here to pay homage are students. When a visitor first comes to the Tenmangū Shrine, the first thing he or she notices is a bronze statue of the Heavenly Ox. Prior to his death, Sugawara no Michizane—who was born in the year of the cow—said that he must be transported to his final resting place by a cow or ox. Wherever the cow stopped, that was the place he was to be buried. Many years later, the bronze cow was built in his memory.
