Excellent food, especially the hush puppies, drumsticks, succotash, cheese sandwich, sweet potato crock, and coleslaw.  Clean and quaint. Friendly service. Reasonable prices.

Amazing the collard greens are FIRE and I look forward to coming here every time I visit the city! Chicken is fresh and delish, Mac and cheese is to die for . Everything is delish!

Started off with the pimento cheese plate and enjoyed the pickled green beans as a different flavor along with solid homemade pimento cheese.  Decided to have the drumsticks to split for lunch with the hot honey, it was excellent!  Sides were horseradish mashed potatoes which were good but could have used some more horseradish heat.  Mac and cheese was well made and had great creaminess. Great meal overall, a bit noisy in the restaurant for our liking but a wonderful meal and wonderful service from Brianna.

Excellent lunch time meal

Visited this place while in between shows at the Indiana State Museum IMAX. Good friendly atmosphere, clean, happy staff and delicious food.  When my family was visiting the following weekend I ordered several to go items. My favorite so far is Spoonbread!!!

In Between Place/Food

Food and atmosphere was great. The service was awesome, and we got our food quick! The mac and cheese was fantastic, along with the grits. Can’t go wrong with the chicken either. Looking forward to going back!
