Roman Catholic Church

oh been a great day visiting the Church. for the first time I was so happy about the experience and felt excited as well. it’s a wonderful holiday to spent there.

The Roman Catholic Church in Irkusk is very different, because Russia is mostly Orthodox, and this is the only Catholic Church in Irkutsk. Her shape is also very characteristic, like a red rocket that is about to launch, erected there, very majestic and beautiful.

It's a beautiful Catholic church. Well, it's not an Orthodox Hotel pass by. By the way, I'm not religious, and I'm not interested in it much.

In Russia, where Orthodox churches are everywhere, this Roman Catholic is very unique in Irkutsk. It is a typical Gothic spire church with red exterior walls and purple spires. The grass around the church is a good place for people to take a leisure walk. It is recommended to walk here in Irkutsk.

In the early 19th century, exiled Poles built a wooden church here. Wooden churches were unfortunately burned in 1879. Later, in 1884, a new stone church was rebuilt in its original place, the Roman Catholic Church that we can visit today. (Note :This church is closed to the public)
