Detailed 3-day, 2-night experience on Scotland's Isle of Skye, per person cost over 2k+
🌈Seeing many people share how beautiful the Isle of Skye is, I really wanted to go! Giving a shoutout to the Isle of Skye because it's truly beautiful! 💯Studying in the UK, you really should visit at least once! It's free, wild, and primitive, and you don't need to interact with humans, haha, with its main attractions being the natural landscapes and fewer people. 💗

⏰January: 1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 13, 16, 23

💜Tips: Be sure to wear thick rainproof and waterproof clothes and outdoor shoes. The rain comes without warning, and umbrellas are completely useless, blown away leaving your face in tears. You can experience eight seasons in one day, and for girls, wearing leggings is the most appropriate, as they are convenient for travel and photo-taking.
-
🌟Group tour experience:
I think the itinerary is very worthwhile, 👀because it almost passes through most of the attractions of the Scottish Highlands and the Isle of Skye, which my classmates didn't get with the Chinese tour group! (Each place has a 15-20 minute stop, with longer stops at major attractions. Departing at 8:30 am and returning to the accommodation by 6:30 pm, with pick-up and drop-off, which is very convenient) The most memorable part was that the driver also took us to touch the Highland cows, which were super cute. 💗

Fairy Pools Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
A Breathtaking Journey Through the Fairy Pools
Nestled amidst the rugged landscapes of the Isle of Skye, the Fairy Pools offer an enchanting and captivating experience that will leave you in awe. As I embarked on this journey, I couldn't help but be mesmerized by the crystal-clear turquoise waters that flowed gracefully through the magnificent natural rock formations. Lush greenery surrounds the pools, creating a picturesque setting that feels straight out of a fairytale.
The Fairy Pools provide a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the raw beauty of nature. With waterfalls cascading down into inviting plunge pools, it's hard to resist taking a refreshing dip. I found the water to be chilly but invigorating, and the feeling of swimming amidst such breathtaking scenery was truly indescribable.
During my visit, I discovered that careful footing is crucial as the terrain can be uneven and slippery, particularly during wet weather. Wearing sturdy shoes and taking your time while exploring is essential to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Additionally, it's advisable to bring along a waterproof camera to capture the magic of this remarkable place.
As I hiked along the tranquil pathways surrounding the Fairy Pools, I felt a sense of serenity and calm wash over me. The stunning sights and sounds of nature's symphony filled my senses, transporting me to a world far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
If you're a nature enthusiast and seek to marvel at natural wonders, the Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye should be on your bucket list. Prepare to be captivated by the ethereal beauty that awaits you in this untouched paradise.

Kilt Rock Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Kilt Rock!
Attraction name: Kilt Rock
Location: Staffin, Isle of Skye
Situated just twenty minutes north of the bustling town of Portree on the Isle of Skye, this is a Scottish marvel.
Kilt Rock is a very popular waterfall that comes gushing down from the edge of a cliff. There is a beautiful new car park purposefully built on site. You don’t even need to walk far, just peer your head over the edge.
If you have a drone, even better! You can get shots of the whole cliff edge!

Kilt rock is a sea cliff in the north east of the Trotternish peninsula, because of the kilt-like shape column. The nearest town is Staffin the trails from here are around 3 kilometers 40 minutes,a 15 kilometers 15 minutes drive from Storr. Mealt falls that is 55 metres falling from 60 metres cliff to the sea. Lots of dino footprints on the sign for kids to look at. On site parking will be busy during visiting hours.

Kilt Rock - Isle of Skye, Scotland
Kilt Rock is a magnificent geological formation on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. It’s a popular tourist attraction known for its dramatic cliffs & striking resemblance to a pleated kilt, hence the name - Kilt Rock.
You can find some dinosaur printings in the area too, hence there’s a Dino Museum in Kilt Rock viewing area.
But what brings visitors here is definitely the Mealt Falls, where water plunges from the top of the cliff 90 metres directly into the sea below. It will create a mesmerising sight & an enchanting sound that echoes across the area.
Nearby, you can also find a charming small village of Staffin, where you can learn more about the history & traditions of the Isle of Skye. Kilt Rock is 16km from Portree (the main town on Skye), and I think is a must-visit during your Isle of Skye road trip.

Skye Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
The Kylerhea to Glenelg ferry crossing is part of the heritage, the last turnable ferry in Scotland. It serves this 800 metre 5 minutes crossing from 1934 during summer times April to mid October. The Kylerhea ferry is reached on the mainland side by a ten mile road that leaves the main A87 at Shiel bridge. The ferry ride sometimes can see wildlife like seals, dolphins, otters and sea eagles.
