Very bad things are still different from some European Western food. I think the things in this store are still good, especially some of their small snacks, but I think some snacks are still sweet.

FORNO BALAT

Lovely staff and cat. Best time we had in Istanbul. Super cozy. The owner Bulat was friendly and gave us a gift (sent to my fianc&eacute;e a pair of earrings and a pack of Clinex to wipe my tears after marriage). We went there for a short lunch and then stayed for more than two hours. Just didn&#39;t want to go. If we had time, we would spend an afternoon visiting the antique shop and this coffee shop.

很不好的东西还是有别于一些欧式的西餐呢，这家店的东西我觉得还是不错的，尤其是他们的一些小点心，不过我觉得有一些点心的话还是偏甜

as a Balat residence for more then a year Forno is a life saver place when you are hungry . You can have the best pide and lahmacun . Breakfast is also fantastic and lentil soup :) even when i write now i feel hungry again. Staff is extremely helpfull and have great service.

One would never imagine that &quot;pide&quot; could be so delicious, even more than its relative &quot;pizza&quot;. I had one simply with cheese, and I must say that the cheese, and their special ovens burning with firewood makes the pides unbelieavably delicious. It is a pity that we don&#39;t have this treat at home.

We were exploring the backstreets of Balat, to see something a bit different from the tourist traps of Sultanahmet, and were feeling a bit peckish. Lucky for us, we stumbled across Forno, which had exactly what my boyfriend had been looking to try Lamacan - this is not to be missed! Wafer thin and covered in yummy meat and spices, this is an ideal snack (just remember to get one each!) and we had the fresh lemonade to go with it, which was fantastic. A great little tucked away find.

A sweet, rustic-looking, with delicious aromas emanating from its open kitchen. However, the service is does not complement the environment. Ordered Lahmacun and an ayran and waited. And waited. And waited. Twenty minutes later - I began to read thinking it was lunchtime and perhaps they were in a rush - a waiter appears at my table to tell me couldn&#39;t make Lahmacun. Obviously very annoyed I left. A pity as it seemed very promising.
