Ragunan Zoo,Jakarta
Ragunan Zoo is one of the tourist attractions for flora and fauna education in Jakarta with a park area of 147 hectares. With a collection of 2,101 animals with 220 different species.
Ragunan Zoo existed before Indonesia's independence.
Initially, this zoo was founded on September 19, 1864 in Batavia under the name Planten en Dierentuin. The location is located on Cikin street
Raya 73, Central Jakarta.
After Indonesia's independence, in 1949 the name was changed to Cikini Zoo.
Because the land in Cikini is too small,The Indonesian government has also moved the location of the zoo to Ragunan, Pasar Minggu, in South Jakarta.
On June 22, 1966,Jakarta governor General Ali Sadikin, inaugurated the Ragunan zoo with the name Ragunan Wildlife Park. The address of the Ragunan zoo is on Jl. Harsono RM. No. 1, Ragunan, Sunday Market, South Jakarta, 12550.

Ragunan is a good tourist spot, there are many animals that I want to see. There are various kinds of animals such as tigers, tigers, gorillas, snakes etc.
This is a very good place, I highly recommend it to everyone to play together.
Beautiful zoo & forest in the middle of Jakarta. Great place to escape from your daily routine. Kids friendly, cheap entrance fee
Lagunan Animals in Jakarta is located on the outskirts of Jakarta. It's about 50 minutes'bus ride from Independence Square. Ticket 4000 Indonesian guilders. On Monday, I transferred from the Miniature Park in Indonesia to another bus before arriving, but I heard that it was closed on Monday. The next morning, you can take a transjkt and change it once. Unexpectedly, from Tuesday onwards, the transjkt will not be in Lagunan Zoo. The car will only go to the penultimate stop, far from the zoo. No way, I had to hire a young man to deliver it by motorcycle, and when I came back, I hired another motorcycle to carry it to sim57 station. So, with information constantly evolving and changing, who can imagine that the bus situation on Monday and Tuesday is different? The park is relatively large, there are many kinds of animals, and many puppy mammals are kept together in one place, male and female. The most special thing in the park is the pelican, which has a large number of pelicans. The second is that the water area is relatively wide and the hippo has a wide range of activities. There are also many places to sell food, fast food, noodles, drinks and fresh coconuts in the zoo. This is a place worth visiting and a very important attraction in Jakarta.
This zoo is amazing and has a beautiful view. There are animals such as orangutan, tiger, giraffe, lion and so on.
