Not just the Falls
The river is quite attractive, so it is not just the Falls that attracts the viewer. We stopped just off the highway to see where early settlers crossed the river.
This river is so pretty as it cuts around Jasper National Park.
The Athabaska River was central to Jasper National Park. It was so scenic to watch the river next to the glacier and to see the many miniature waterfalls. I saw many rodents, birds, and even a goat.

Rafting Journey
Enjoyed our trip "down the river" with Ziggy at the helm. Would definitely do it again. On a later trip we were able to sit on the shore by Becker's Chalets and wave to others taking the trip!!!
