Shengqinlangzha Mountain is located in Gangtuo Township, Jiangda County, 100 kilometers away from the county seat. It is one of the 25 Buddhist sacred mountains in Kham District. It occupies a large area and you can see undulating mountains more than ten kilometers away.
There are also many scenic spots on the mountain: Guru Rinpoche Cave, Monkey Hat Off, Mountain Temple, Stone Statue of Guru Padmasambhava, Karmapa Cave, etc.
Tibetan Buddhism pays attention to "cultivation." Even the famous religious master Padmasambhava must have experienced spiritual practice. This gives rise to a Buddhist sacred place different from temples, which is the so-called practice site.
Shengqinlangzha Mountain is a sacred mountain in Qamdo area. According to Tibetan historical records, there are 25 famous sacred mountains in Kham, most of which are located in Qamdo. The Shengchenlangzha Mountain in Jiangdagangtuo is a place where the famous religious master Padmasambhava and the high monks of the Nyingma and Kagyu sects, such as Deqing, Chogyelylpa and Gamabashi, practiced and worshiped.
There are many scenic spots on the mountain, among which the more distinctive ones are the monkey taking off the hat, the stone statue of the master Guru Rinpoche, the cave of the Guru Rinpoche, the cave of the Guru Rinpoche, the cave of the Karmapa, and the Shengchen Langzha Mountain Temple.
