The ancient fort of Yamen is worth visiting, and it is associated with the power of the Song Dynasty to build this fort. History witnesses the manpower made a building in the times.
Only one ancient cannon is a historical artifact, the others are contemporary cement, but these cement cannons have basically disappeared
A long-standing place, beautiful scenery, strong fun, cost-effective, is a good place for patriotic education.
The Yamen Ancient Fort is located on the east side of Yamen Haikou, Yamen Village, Gujing Town, Xinhui District. It was built in the early Qing Dynasty and was rebuilt in successive generations. The Fort is curved, with mountains and seas. The gun position stretches for up to 180 meters, forming a city wall-like fort with a depth of 3.5 meters and a height of 5.5 meters. The base of the platform went straight down to the sea, the base front base stone was used as a waveproof wall, the base was built with granite, and the top was built with three-in-one earth. This fort was built in the early Qing Dynasty, so it was not connected to the Yamen sea battle when the Southern Song Dynasty was destroyed. Jiang Wen's "Let the bullet fly" was once filmed here.
