Jiayuguan Pass is the first frontier fortress at the west end of the Ming dynasty Great Wall of China. It features an inner city wall and outer city wall, as well as three large towers and a number of watchtowers. The site also boasts a number of other historical attractions and architecture. The wall provides a stunning view over the local landscape and the Gobi Desert. The Qilian Mountains can be seen in the distance.
