Passing through the town of Guanyinqiao, along the winding mountain road to the Guanyin Temple, the mountain road is steep and spirals 180 degrees upwards, much like the road of Shangluo Village in Wenchuan in 2015. Overlooking the river valley on the mountain road is still beautiful. The Guanyin Temple, located on Mount Nale, was built in the tenth year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1805). It belongs to the Ningma School. The Guanyin Bodhisattva enshrined in the temple is the three sisters of the same root as the Jokhang Temple in Lhasa and the Guanyin Bodhisattva on Mount Putuo in the South China Sea. Incense is at its peak. The platform in front of the temple is a great place to overlook the valley~ The ancient and exquisite four-armed Guanyin statue (Turkey Chinbo) is enshrined in the main hall. The thangkas on the walls around the temple are very gorgeous and exquisite, but unfortunately they are not well protected and have begun to weather Flaking. There is a huge specimen of deer in the hall, which we think is like an elk. The monks were busy checking the scriptures to be hidden in the 14-meter-high statue of Manjushri that was about to be consecrated, and ignored us who wandered freely in the temple. When we asked for advice, a monk with a good Chinese language gave us a detailed introduction. He was very enthusiastic and thoughtful, answering all questions, and pointed out several places in our temple that must not be missed. In these non-tourist temples, the monks are warm and friendly, which left a very good influence on me and brought us a wonderful humanistic experience.
The local people refer to the Tuji Qinbo Guanyin Temple as the Guanyin Temple for short, so don't be misled by the name. The temple is very large and spectacular, and it has a high status in the Tibetan Guanyin Temple! The temple is built on the mountainside, there are motorized lanes to drive directly up, there is a large parking lot, single lanes, many bends, pay attention to safety, the temple is very incense, there are many Tibetan compatriots who kowtow to worship, free of tickets!
Guanyin Bridge is the first night rest point for many western Sichuan routes. For those who are not asking for God, it is worthwhile to visit the Guanyin Temple early the next morning. The temple is surrounded by clouds, like a fairyland. The red wall and the blue sky are a perfect match, it’s even more beautiful with a ray of sunshine
On this day, I went to the Guanyin Temple in Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Jinchuan County, Sichuan, at an altitude of 3,011 meters, known as the second Potala Palace! The altitude sickness is good, not very obvious, and the scenery on the road is also very beautiful, it is really worth a visit. Although the journey is far away
