Shuixi Shuangta

My home is next to the Shuixi Twin Towers. Since I was a child, I have loved to run to the temple. The ringing of the bell can be heard around four in the morning. Shuixi Twin Towers are located at the foothills of Shuixi Mountain in Jing County, close to the Southern Anhui Incident Memorial Hall, and are a national key cultural relics protection unit. The Shuixi twin towers, one is the Grand View Pagoda, and the other is the small square tower. The Daguan Pagoda was built in the second year of Daguan in the Northern Song Dynasty (1108). The Daguan Pagoda has seven floors and eight sides, with a bottom diameter of 11 meters and a wall thickness of 3.1 meters. There are brick arches on each side, and short eaves and eaves are built by layer by layer. There is a protruding bucket arch with a wood-like structure underneath. Each layer has double-layered eaves. The bricks are scattered and neatly formed to form a neat pattern. The corners between the layers are made of semi-circular bricks to form a semi-cylindrical. The entire tower looks solemn ,magnificent. There is another small square tower on the hillside about 400 meters to the left of the tower. The two towers are collectively called the Shuixi Twin Towers. You can visit the South Anhui Incident Memorial Hall nearby.
