Yan'an Top 13 in Can't Miss Attractions

It was the seat of the Central Military Commission and the headquarters of the Eighth Route Army during the Yan'an period. It was composed of several groups of cave dwellings and adobe houses. It was relatively large in scale, with clean internal environment and relatively simple working conditions. As a famous red tourist attraction, it is open to tourists for free.

Wangjiaping is an important scenic spot on Yan'an Red Tourist Route. It is located to the northwest of Yan'an City, facing the city across the Yan River, surrounded by mountains and rivers, and has a beautiful environment. After the Party Central Committee stationed in Yan'an, the Military Commission and headquarters organs led the military and civilians in the base area for eight years of resistance. After the Japanese surrender, they smashed the all-out offensive of the Kuomintang reactionaries. On March 18, 1947, Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai led their troops to evacuate from here and fought in northern Shaanxi.

A free and open patriotism education base. It used to be the headquarters of the Eighth Route Army and the Central Military Commission of the Communist Party of China. It consists of several groups of cave dwellings and bungalows. It is very simple. The leadership of the Communist Party of China headed by Chairman Mao once worked and lived here.

Picture 5 is the former residence of Mao Zedong. Mao Zedong moved here from Zaoyuan in 1946. The tiled house is connected to two cave dwellings, one cave dwelling and one room. The tiled house is part of a corridor, and there is a bathroom at the end. Figure 5 shows one of the cave dwellings. 5. After Mao Anying came back from studying abroad, he chatted with Mao Zedong on the stone chair in front of his residence, and finally decided to go to the labor university, which is to go to the countryside to reclaim wasteland. The background is the air-raid shelter in Figure 6. There are three types of cave dwellings according to their materials: stone kilns, brick kilns, and earth kilns. The earth kilns are located in the mountains. The cave dwellings on the air-raid shelter are earth kilns. 6. Figure 7 is the inside of the air-raid shelter. 7. Continue down to the former residence of Zhou Enlai in Figure 8. 8. Next, you will see a shop selling special paper-cuts. Here are 5 yuan a piece of red paper bookmark of Figure 9 that can be pasted on the window, and 30 yuan a piece of straw painting made of corn stalks. 9. Walk along the path and come to Taoyuan, which is a place like a small square. There is a stage where people will perform waist dances, but the performances are normal and there is no reward.

The former site of the Wangjiaping Revolution is not far from the Yan'an Revolution Memorial Hall, across Yanhe and the city, surrounded by mountains and rivers, with a beautiful environment.
