Pure Tourist Experience in Jingdezhen | 3 Days and 2 Nights | Watch me avoid unnecessary detours
I arrived in Jingdezhen at the beginning of March! Come on, watch me for three days and two nights!
🚄: We arrived by high-speed train! At Jingdezhen North Station
(Here's a reminder for everyone! There are very few vehicles at the North Station, and it's hard to find taxis or book a ride! It took us half an hour to get a car)
Accommodation: Recommended to choose near Taoxichuan or Sculpture Porcelain Factory
A bit more central. We stayed near the Ceramic Museum (a bit far) because transportation in Jingdezhen is not very convenient ❕Taxis and ride-hailing 🚗 are expensive!
You can rent an electric scooter🛵 for 30 yuan a day!
Here's a reminder for everyone! Look for a 24-hour rental to get your money's worth! Don't go for those that require you to return the scooter the same evening!
👔Clothing: It's still quite cold at the beginning of March. A thin down jacket is necessary! But the perceived temperature is okay. You can take off the jacket if it gets hot during the day.
🤍Attractions:
Sculpture Porcelain Factory⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Go on a Saturday afternoon for the market! It's super fun to shop around. Bracelets for 10 yuan for three, and lots of little trinkets. I bought so many, haha.
Take a deeper look inside, there's a popular coffee shop (Jingdezhen coffee cups) where you can take photos and check in.
Taoxichuan⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Go for a stroll around 6 pm. The scenery is beautiful both during the day and at night! The stalls there have a very artistic vibe!
Ceramic Museum:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: Of course, this is a must-visit! The museum is quite large! It's recommended to go straight upstairs!
It's easier to start from the top and work your way down! You need to book a day in advance! There are blind boxes in the lobby on the first floor h h h h h👍36 yuan each, those who like blind boxes should go for it!
Imperial Kiln Museum: Go after 8:30 pm, the museum is free! But Taoyang inside charges during the day, 53 yuan per person. After 8:30 pm, there's no charge.
Porcelain Palace: If you love taking photos, go for it! 25 yuan per person! Check the weather☁️! Go on a sunny day! It's not good for photos on a cloudy day, and there's not much culture! It's optional depending on your schedule. We didn't go!
Eat🍽️: Restaurants: Folk Village, Mawei Port, Little Yellow Fish【Jinding's is a trap (signature dish: Little Yellow Fish)】Home Cooking, Ouji Big Stall, Lele Big Stall
Special Snacks: Cold Noodles (Taojie Cold Noodles, One Bowl Noodles) Dumpling Ba (Daifamily Fat Ba Shop), Alkaline Water Ba, Fried Rice Noodles, Little Mao Soup Dumplings
Finally, I wish everyone a happy trip:
ps Transportation is really inconvenient. Taxis and ride-hailing are expensive💥

Special Forces Travel—China's Porcelain Capital, Jingdezhen
🏵️🥰🍀Special Forces Travel—China's Porcelain Capital, Jingdezhen. 🌋🍀Nanny-level travel guide
🏺🙃Travel Mode - We took a high-speed train directly to Jingdezhen North Station. 🚄🌋🙃
⬇️🏺🙃Here's a particularly important point: take a taxi ten minutes in advance 🍮🌋, there are really a lot of people hailing cabs after getting off the train 🍀🏺. Set your destination to the South Square, 🍮🏺🏺where there's a designated area for ride-hailing services. No need to crowd 😩🍮
⬇️Accommodation suggestion: 😩🏺Stay near the Imperial Kiln, it's convenient to get anywhere from there. Jingdezhen is actually not very big, 😆🪺and the attractions are relatively concentrated.
⬇️First stop: Fuzhou Alley 😆🎍🪺
We arrived at 11 o'clock, 🍮🏺🌋and it was about 12 o'clock by the time we went to the hotel and dropped off our luggage. Just in time for lunch. 🏺🍮It's also a food street 🏺🎍🌋🎍, equivalent to Nanchang's Jewelry Street. Try the Fan-style beef bone noodles, 🌼🐠fried dough sticks wrapped around magnetic clay, and cold noodles. The taste is all right, worth a try, but it's very crowded 🐠🍮, you have to queue up.
⬇️Second stop: Imperial Kiln 🏺🎄🌋
The Imperial Kiln Museum is inside, and the museum doesn't require a ticket 🎫, 🏺🍮🏺but entering the Imperial Kiln costs 55 yuan. I find it quite absurd. 😩🎄The good thing is that it's very suitable for taking photos inside, it's really photogenic. You can spend more time there. 🍮🌋We stayed inside for over 3 hours, taking all sorts of photos. 😆🍮
⬇️Taocun West, 🌋🎍😆Taoyang New Village
Taocun West is where the university students from the Ceramic University set up their stalls, 🏺🍮selling various ceramic crafts, very creative, but a bit pricey. 🌋🍮🌋But indeed, there are many creative items. 🎄🌋Worth a visit.
Taoyang New Village. 🍮🌋A small village specializing in selling ceramics. 🌋🎍If you have a girlfriend and manage to leave empty-handed, I really don't believe it. 🍮🌋10 yuan for 3 strands of bracelets, all kinds of ceramics, 🍮🐠you can't possibly buy them all. 🍮Here you will definitely spend money, but I suggest looking around more 🍮🐠, because the deeper you go, the cheaper it gets. Here you can shop to your heart's content. 😩🍮
⬇️After finishing the tour, that's the end of the first day's itinerary. 😩🙃🌼

Jingdezhen Museum
It takes about half an hour to get to Jingdezhen by high-speed train from Wuyuan, which is very convenient for a round trip. So we spent half a day going to Jingdezhen, checking in at the China Imperial Kiln Museum. Rather than a museum, it's more like an ancient alley. Many young ladies are taking photos and checking in here, which is very photogenic. There are also a few retro shops to browse. Inside the museum, it mainly introduces ancient kilns, and then we went to the China Ceramic Museum. It's quite large, with several floors. You can listen to the machine explanation while looking at the ceramics, or you can wander around on your own. We also saw the very popular expressionless Buddha meme.

Taoxi Valley: A perfect collision of tradition and trend
Taoxi Valley, a city cultural and creative district built on the conservation and utilization of ceramic industrial heritage, combines tradition, fashion, art, and high technology, recording the 60-year history of the Universe Porcelain Factory.
Neat and beautiful landscape paths - mottled and rough factory walls;
Modern buildings with red brick and ink-colored glass - chimneys characteristic of the old industrial era;
Logos of popular shops - slogans with the imprint of the times;
Dismantled machines and parts - modern sculptures;
The perfect combination of tradition and modernity is everywhere.
Unfortunately, the return flight was in the evening, so I couldn't enjoy the wonderful night view of Taoxi Valley.

People always say there are a lot of folks in Jingdezhen, but after some hesitation, I decided to go for it. Aside from queuing for an hour for a taxi after getting off the high-speed train, I found the city's population density quite manageable. After all, Jingdezhen has many markets, so not everyone is crowded in one place. This time, I opted for a laid-back approach, making a day trip and only visiting the Sculpture Porcelain Factory, Taoxi Valley, and Taoyang New Village. There's no need to specifically look for those popular shops; if you browse the markets carefully, you'll find them. When tired, just find a less crowded shop to sit and have a drink. The most important thing is to enjoy yourself. There are many places I haven't visited, so I'll save them for next time

A must-visit in Jingdezhen - Exploring the kilns
Jingdezhen Ancient Kiln Folklore Expo Area,
Located at No. 1, Ancient Kiln Road, Panlonggang, Fengshushan, Changjiang District, Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province, it is the only national tourist area in the country with ceramic culture as the theme. It integrates cultural expo, ceramic experience, and entertainment and leisure. The main attractions are the ancient kiln exhibition area of all ages, the ceramic folklore exhibition area, and the waterfront street creative rest area.
The ancient kiln exhibition area of all ages includes ancient porcelain workshops, the world's oldest porcelain production line, Song Dynasty dragon kiln, Yuan Dynasty mantou kiln, Ming Dynasty gourd kiln, Qing Dynasty town kiln and other attractions.
Visit the Yuan Dynasty mantou kiln in Jingdezhen and experience ceramic culture
The Yuan Dynasty mantou kiln is one of the typical porcelain kilns used in Jingdezhen during the Song, Yuan and Ming Dynasties. It is named for its kiln shape similar to a mantou (steamed bun). Some mantou kiln beds are horseshoe-shaped, so they are also called horseshoe-shaped kilns.
Bess Cooper
Roaming the porcelain capital, Jingdezhen
Jingdezhen·Jiangxi Ancient Kiln Folklore Expo Area
How can you not eat the eight big bowls when you come to Jingdezhen? How can you not drink the four special wines?
I was awakened at six o'clock to visit the kiln in the name of morning exercises, crossing the streets and alleys, and I walked into a park-like place in a daze. This ancient kiln folklore expo area is open to local residents for morning exercises from six thirty to seven thirty. The aunts are dancing square dances in front of the bronze statue of Fenghuo Xianshi Tongbin, and the red folding fans are swaying powerfully. A few old men are driven to the corner of the wall to dance the wooden sword of the Taoist immortal.
The high walls and flying eaves of Qingyuan Minglu are all green bricks and black tiles. Even if you don't go in, the halls and side rooms are already lined up in your mind. Walking into the bamboo forest, the slope gradually eases, although the breeze is blowing gently, it can't resist the sweat soaking the clothes.
Then casually passed by the Qing Dynasty town kiln, Song Dynasty dragon kiln, steamed bun kiln, gourd kiln, the wind and rain have already found no trace of ancient meaning, it is better than a rotten bowl or half a vase embedded in the mud wall nestled in the grass, the morning sun warmly shines on the ancient well.
The noon sun began to blaze, the wind on the tenth floor of the urban oasis made people drowsy, thinking about the broken porcelain pieces laid all over the porcelain capital, or gritted my teeth and came to Taoxichuan, Taoxichuan where I was the only one, walking through every street, except for a few wilted young men and women, everything was as quiet as a chimney that would no longer smoke.
In the evening, I still decided to go south, a thousand miles later is the place of strong wine and big meat, 260 miles away, I missed Longhushan, after the sunset, the night is dark, tonight I can only camp in the wilderness.
🛕Location: No. 1, Guyao Road, Cidu Avenue, Changjiang District
🚙Transportation: Accessible by self-driving and bus, convenient parking
🎫Ticket: The official price is 95, and there are discounts on the Ctrip platform
👣Tour: Qingyuan Minglu is a group of ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, consisting of four Qing Dynasty buildings such as Dafudi Yuhuatang and eight Ming Dynasty Lu Men temples and shops, as well as the temple of Fenghuo Xianshi Tongbin and the memorial hall of Lao Datang Ying of Tang Kiln
The ancient kilns of the past dynasties obviously lack ancient meaning, the Yuan Dynasty steamed bun kiln, Song Dynasty dragon kiln, Ming Dynasty gourd kiln, Qing Dynasty town kiln one by one, the small porcelain bowls and cups are unique in shape and the cup wall is oily, it is worth a close look, white as jade, bright as a mirror, thin as paper, sound as a chime is really worthy of the name
The Porcelain Sound Water Pavilion has performances every day, and the porcelain plate is also a major development of tradition as a musical instrument.
🧸Suggestion: If you enter the park before seven thirty, it is free.
Also, you might as well go to Taoxichuan, which is a cultural and creative park transformed from an old ceramic factory, and the night view is particularly exciting.

Jiangxi hides a small and niche thousand-year-old ancient town, which not only has the charm of Jiangnan, but also allows free entry.
Jiangxi is a place full of poetic and picturesque scenery. The local tourism resources are very rich, including the famous Lushan Mountain with its unique and beautiful scenery, Wugong Mountain, a holy land for hiking with stunning views of the sea of clouds, Sanqing Mountain, like a Chinese ink painting, and Huangling, the most beautiful village in China. Many scenic spots are worth visiting, and there are also some overlooked niche travel destinations with their own unique charm. Today, let's take a look at a lesser-known thousand-year-old ancient town in Jiangxi, which retains the original Jiangnan style and is free of charge. It is worth a visit.
This ancient town is Yao Li Ancient Town, located in the eastern part of Fuliang County, Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province, at the junction of Qimen, Xiuning, Wuyuan, and Fuliang counties. It is 50 kilometers away from the downtown area of Jingdezhen and Fuliang County. It occupies a very advantageous geographical location and has a history of more than two thousand years. It has been a prosperous commercial port since ancient times. Nowadays, the ancient town is rich in Gan-style architecture and tourism resources, and is known as the "origin of porcelain, hometown of tea, and sea of forests".
Yao Li Ancient Town is named after Jingdezhen porcelain kilns and is one of the origins of ceramic handicrafts. It has a history and culture of more than two thousand years. Nowadays, there are many ancient buildings left behind. Walking on the old streets of the ancient town, you can see the traces left by the years. Stepping on the stone road, it feels like traveling back in time. Wearing ancient costumes to take photos is very picturesque. Not only that, it is also a red relic. Comrade Chen Yi lived here and guided the reorganization work of the New Fourth Army, known as the "Yao Li Reorganization". Now an exhibition hall has been established, which is a red education base for accepting the enlightenment of revolutionary ideology and carrying out revolutionary traditional learning.
Yao Li ancient town is full of exotic Jiangnan style, and the scenery here is intoxicating. We can enjoy steep mountains, green streams, and simple villages. During the day, it is like a landscape in a Chinese ink painting, and at night, the lights are brilliant, with the charm of an ancient town. It is super beautiful for taking photos. The Yao River runs through the town, with clear water and no pollution, slowly flowing down. Surrounding it are ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties and distant mountains, forming a beautiful Jiangnan ink painting, which is very shocking and seems like a fairyland on earth.
In the ancient town, there are various delicious foods and authentic Jiangxi specialties. Whether you taste them locally or give them as gifts, they are all unforgettable. In addition, there is no admission fee to visit Yao Li ancient town, and you can enter and play for free. It is a national four-star scenic spot with complete humanistic landscape, natural scenery, and revolutionary sites, and has high historical and cultural value. In Jiangxi, Yao Li ancient town is a niche travel destination, but its beauty and charm are shocking. The scenery, ancient architecture, and food here are all worth exploring and tasting. It is a great place to check in.

The ancient town of Yaoli in the misty rain
No need for tickets,
Food and accommodation are not expensive,
It's best to stay there for a night,
Avoid the crowd,
The feeling there in the morning and evening is very good,
Listened to a song of 'Blue and White Porcelain' on the dock,
It's quite healing.
Although there are also many locals doing business,
There are also some who maintain the original lifestyle,
Better than many charged,
Completely commercialized ancient towns.
Yaoli, the ancient town of a thousand years.
