Kaifeng Baozhu Temple is located in the north of Xitou Road, Donghuamen Street, Kaifeng City. The Baozhu Temple sits from north to south. It is an ancient building with three-entry double courtyards and angled cornices, showing the construction style of Song and Qing. On the central axis is the Temple of Heavenly Kings, which enshrines Maitreya Bodhisattva, Weituo Bodhisattva and the four heavenly kings. The east and west sides are next to the bell and the drum on the second floor. The Daxiong Hall is located in the middle of the front yard, dedicated to the Three Sages of Huayan and Guanyin on the island. In the middle of the backyard is the Puzhao Building, and the upper floor is the Tibetan Scripture Pavilion, which enshrines a Burmese jade sculpture of a reclining Buddha and a "Chinese Tripitaka" gifted by the Taiwan Buddha Foundation.
The predecessor of Baozhu Temple was the female Zhonglin of the Henan Buddhist Society founded by the contemporary century-old monk Jing Yan (former executive director of the Chinese Buddhist Association, president of the Henan Provincial Buddhist Association, member of the Henan Provincial CPPCC, and member of the Standing Committee of the Kaifeng CPPCC). In 1924, Jinggong went to the Central Plains to promote Buddhism on the order of Master Taixu. Following Master Ci's lineage, he founded the Henan Buddhist Society of Women Zhonglin in Kaifeng, and Master Ciyun Guangyan's line. At present, there are more than ten nuns and monks living in the temple, all of whom have a junior high school education level or above, and are pious. All nuns follow the jungle cohabitation protocol. In the morning and evening, the hall will pass at two o'clock, and the half-moon busa will take the precepts as the teacher, and live together in harmony. The order is in order. Buddhist activities are like the law and the law.
In the quiet and elegant temple, cigarettes are lingering, the bells are chanted, and the solemn and clean atmosphere makes people feel otherworldly. There is an endless stream of Buddhist believers, pilgrims, and tourists, and the number of converts is increasing day by day. Baozhu Temple is indeed a piece of pure land in the city, a treasure in the ancient capital of Kaifeng.
Kaifeng Baozhu Temple is small in scale and famous. It is a nun temple and does not require tickets. In the small alley not far from the south gate of Longting Park, it is more difficult to find. Most people go there by tricycle, and the incense is a bit strong.

Inside a very small alley, quaint
It's free, and the surrounding ruins are half demolished, but it highlights the sanctity of the temple. The inside is small, but very delicate, the eaves dripping with water after the rain, the master sits in the yard for lunch, everything is so beautiful.
