Hado Cape

Cape Hado is located at the northern end of the East Matsuura Peninsula. There is a grassland on the cape, overlooking the endless Genkai Beach, and the scenery is charming. Especially the scenery at sunset, the atmosphere is romantic, and it has become a popular hot spot for lovers to date and propose. The white heart-shaped installation completed in 2009 has become the symbol of this place. Since then, Cape Hato has been nicknamed "HeartMisaki" (HeartMisaki), which is a homonym of the Japanese word HatoMisaki. Another popular tourist attraction at Cape Hado is the White Underwater Observation Tower, which is connected to the coast by a trestle bridge. The bottom of the tower is 7 meters deep into the water as if it emerged from the sea. The underwater part of the observation tower has 24 viewing windows, allowing you to observe fish and marine plants up close.
