The Arabianoo Out Observatory in Dobroyd gives you a spectacular panoramic view of Sydney Harbour, from the seagulls in the north and south to the east, from the skyscrapers in Sydney to the west. It is named after an Aboriginal people who arrived in Europe in 1788 to establish the NSW colony as the first people to live in Europe, 200 years ago when the first white immigrants arrived. The Alabama Observation Deck (Arabanoo Lookout) was also a favorite spot for whales found between May and November, when whales migrated from their Antarctic breeding grounds to warmer northern waters and then returned with newborn calves.
