Introduction to the Historic Path of Coloa - "The Historic Path of Coloa is a 10-mile (16-kilometer) long self-help tour route along which there are 14 scenic spots, including :Horn Fountain Park, Prince Kushio Park, Pop Beach Park, Pure Land Temple of Coloa, etc. Coloa is located on the South coast, where Hawaii's first commercial sugar plantation once flourished. The Sucrose Monument is located behind the beautiful rain tree in the center of the ancient town of Coloa, opposite the ruins of the stone chimney of the Coloa Sugar Factory built in 1841.
