Located in disciple Qu, Mochou Lake is the most transparent volcanic lake in Japan. You can take Mashup Bus to Mochou Lake at Mochou Station. Bus will stay at the first viewing platform for 20 minutes, then return to Mochou Station on the same way. In winter, there are only four buses. If you miss a bus, you have to wait for two or three hours. There is only one shop nearby. So remember to control the time.

An important viewing platform in Mozhou Lake is about 3 Kunming away from the third viewing platform. This viewing platform has complete facilities. The parking lot charges 500 yen, but the parking ticket in Sulfur Mountain is a set ticket, which can be paid once.

It takes 25 minutes by bus from JR Mozhou Station to Mozhou Lake. It is said that Mozhou Lake is the most transparent lake in the world. But winter becomes a snowy plain shrouded in mist. The rock-like island in the middle of the lake was originally called Kamuisiu. It was also called the dimple of Lake Mochow. In the slave language, it meant to be a god's wife, and it had some fantastic fairyland feeling.
