The Dasheng Temple is a modern era temple in the city of Qiqihar in Heilongjiang, built at the beginning of the 1940s. Although it is a modern era structure, it is still built in the form of a traditional ancient temple, and is one of the larger glazed roof tile building complexes in Heilongjiang. At the time when the temple was built, Puyi Aisin Gioro had donated a precious Tang edition of the Garland Sutra to the temple. The main hall of the Dasheng Temple is covered in yellow glazed roof tiles. It is dignified and solemn, and the three characters of "Dasheng Temple" made up of green glazed roof tiles are written atop the hall, giving a refined atmosphere. There is also a white jade Guanyin inside the temple. Its kindliness is quite majestic and brings respect to one's heart.
