Ulan Buh| The autumn here is like a paradise of oil paintings, so beautiful that it moves one to tears!!
| The autumn here is like a paradise of oil paintings, so beautiful that it moves one to tears!! Ulan Buh| The green is not the exclusive calling card of the grasslands, the autumn grasslands are even more colorful, especially the autumn of the Ulan Buh grassland, filled with that alluring magic,
Ulan Buh is located at the southernmost tip of Keshiketeng Banner in Inner Mongolia, separated from Hebei's Saihanba by a boundary river,
combining grassland, lakes, wetlands, and forest landscapes into one. Ulan Buh was once a royal hunting ground, and anything that caught the royal eye was definitely of the finest quality, due to its location at the intersection of hills and plains,
it presents a completely different natural feature from other grasslands. Come autumn, this place transforms into a paradise of oil paintings,
outshining other autumn scenes in the country with overwhelming momentum, becoming a colorful and dreamy world,
/
During autumn, the temperature difference between day and night is significant, you might still be wearing short sleeves during the day, but at night you need to prepare a light down jacket to avoid catching a cold. The autumn season is quite dry, and the ultraviolet rays are strong, so sun protection is very important

Beijing Vicinity | It's not that Harbin is unaffordable, but Bashang offers better value for money
☀️A little potato from the south, I mustered up the courage to visit the frigid land of Bashang.
📸Bashang: A grassland in Inner Mongolia accessible from Beijing, where the emperor used to hunt in the autumn during the Qing dynasty. In spring, Bashang is covered with flowers, in summer the water and grass are lush with herds of cattle and sheep, in autumn the forests are a riot of color, and in winter the ground is blanketed with snow.
🗺️【Route】
Joined a car tour group, gathering in Beijing
Day1️⃣ Beijing — Weichang County — Saihanba Forest Park — Ulan Butong
Day2️⃣ Ulan Butong — Tongfeng Gully (river fog, rime ice) — Nanjing — Hamaba (village photography, light and shadow) — Baijiawopu (sunset) — Ulan Butong
Day3️⃣ Ulan Butong — Xiaohe Head (snow buns, rime ice) — Weichang County — Beijing
☀️【Temperature】
Around minus 10 to minus 20 degrees Celsius
🧷【Gear】
✅Top: I wore a quick-dry shirt, fleece, Uniqlo light down jacket, thick down jacket (yes, 2 down jackets)
✅Bottom: Thermal leggings, 2 pairs of fleece-lined sweatpants (yes, 3 pairs of pants)
✅Shoes: Outdoor shoes + heated insoles + very thick socks, plus snow gaiters, because the snow is deep, unless your snow boots are very tall, it's recommended to add snow gaiters to prevent snow from falling into the shoes, which can get wet
✅Gloves: Cotton gloves
✅Hat: Down jacket's hood
✅Scarf: Woolen scarf
➡️With this set, only my hands were cold, they were freezing while taking photos
Toes were a bit cold too, need to move around more
All the gear I wore, I didn't buy specially, they are just clothes I normally wear in Shanghai, just layered up...
✏️【Impressions】
✔️In the extreme cold weather, it's okay if there's sunshine, just wear more clothes, it's just the exposed parts that are miserable.
If you wear a mask, it will collect moisture, and glasses will frost up, without a mask it's just cold...
✔️We had an off-road vehicle all the way, so we could only stand being outside for at most half an hour before we had to roll back into the car to warm up.
✔️Regarding the scenery, personally, I think too much of it can lead to aesthetic fatigue, I feel 2-3 days is about right...
✔️Bashang in winter is really sparsely populated, there are only a few restaurants, hotels, and shops open, the good thing is it's quiet with few people, the downside is it's too quiet......

Having grasped the vastness of the universe, I still cherish the greenery of plants and trees
The autumn grasslands, where all things merge into distant mountains like dark green eyebrows, and heaven and earth blend into one hue. The sky is as blue as a gemstone, clouds as white as cotton, and the sunlight sprinkles on the earth, warm and pleasant. This season is the most beautiful moment of the Ulan Butong Grassland in Keshiketeng Banner, Chifeng.
The car steadily enters the grassland, and the wind from the window brings a cool breeze, with the primitive scent and the vast beauty rushing towards me. A sense of expectation and excitement arises in my heart, as if I am in a fairy tale world.
Along the way, herds of cattle and sheep leisurely graze on the green grass, as if dancing to a wonderful rhythm. At the edge of the grassland, patches of cosmos flowers bloom into a colorful sea of flowers, like a splendid and colorful painting. In the distance, horses gallop, and flocks of wild birds soar in the sky, forming a beautiful natural picture.
Following the navigation, I drive forward. Suddenly, a lake appears before my eyes. The lake water is as calm as a mirror, reflecting the sky and distant mountains, stunningly beautiful. I get out of the car, step onto the gentle slope by the lake, and crush a small piece of green plant in my hand, immediately releasing a fresh grassy fragrance. I close my eyes, take a deep breath, as if I can smell the breath of nature.
Continuing to drive, I arrive at a famous campsite. This is a gathering place for tourists, with cozy tents, delicious roasted whole lamb, and a blazing bonfire. As night falls, the stars are brilliant, as if covering the entire sky. I sit by the bonfire, listening to the local herders playing the Morin Khuur, feeling peaceful and content.
The next day, I come to the most famous attraction of Keshiketeng Banner—Chifeng. Here is a magnificent and splendid palace, with golden walls reflecting the sunlight, dazzling to behold. I slowly ascend the steps, and the viewing platform at the top allows me to see the entire beauty of Chifeng. Surrounded by mountains and shrouded in clouds, it's like being in a fairyland.
Leaving Chifeng, I drive towards the end of the Ulan Butong Grassland. This is the end of the grassland and the northernmost place in Inner Mongolia. Standing here, I can feel the vastness and infinite power of nature. The grassland here seems to have no boundaries, connected to the sky and merged with the earth.
The autumn journey through the Ulan Butong Grassland has allowed me to experience the unique charm of natural beauty. The vast grassland, the freely running cattle and sheep, and the dancing flowers have all become unique memories deep in my heart. I promise myself that whenever the hustle and bustle of the city overwhelms me, I will return here to find inner peace and freedom.

Ulan Butung Grasslands Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
I lament the fleeting nature of my life and envy the endless beauty of the autumn colors in the Ulan Buh grasslands
In the fairyland of autumn, I drive slowly along the road of the Ulan Buh grasslands in Keshiketeng Banner. This vast grassland, like a green tapestry, covers the entire earth. The sunlight filters through the clouds and sprinkles on the grass, and the blades sway in the breeze as if beckoning to me.
My destination is this beautiful secret realm, and each visit brings me new sensations. This autumn, I have decided to drive myself to deeply experience the magical charm of the grasslands.
In the morning, as I drive through the bumpy dirt roads and enter the grasslands, a fresh scent of grass greets me. I stop the car, bathe in the sunlight, and gaze at the scenery before me, as if entering a fairy-tale world.
The grasslands here are not a monotonous green; in autumn, they undergo a gorgeous transformation. Golden wildflowers are scattered everywhere, adorning the green grass, creating a scene like a moving oil painting. I walk through the seas of flowers, deeply inhaling the fragrance that nature exudes.
I continue to drive, occasionally encountering herds of cattle grazing leisurely on the grasslands. They sometimes bow their heads to nibble, sometimes play and jump with each other, as if showing their love for this land. I can't help but think that the grasslands are the home of these animals; they coexist harmoniously with nature, forming part of this beautiful scenery.
When the sun sets, I choose an ideal spot to stop the car. The endless sky in the distance is dyed red by the afterglow, brilliant as fire. At dusk, the grasslands are enveloped in an orange halo, as if the earth has been draped in a beautiful garment. I am intoxicated by the magnificent scenery, feeling the power of nature.
As night falls, the starry sky's dazzling pearls adorn the black curtain. I walk on the grasslands, feeling the breeze gently brushing my face. The grass and the stars, illuminated by the moonlight, form a poetic and continuous fairyland. I sit quietly on the lawn, looking up at the stars, seeking inspiration in this tranquility.
When leaving the Ulan Buh grasslands, I resolve to return to this beautiful secret realm, to feel the charm of nature once more. The autumn fairyland of the Ulan Buh grasslands in Keshiketeng Banner has allowed me to appreciate the endless charm of the grasslands. It has provided me with endless creative inspiration and has deeply moved me by the power of nature.

Chifeng City (at the border with Xilingol League) Keshiketeng World Geopark's Stone Array Park.
This place is in the hinterland of Inner Mongolia, and it's really not convenient to get there. The route I arranged is from Xing'an League's Arxan Forest Park to Zhangjiakou, passing through here.
Ashatu Stone Forest Scenic Area.

Regarding Inner Mongolia, is your mind just the endless grassland? When you come to Chifeng and come to the Keshiketeng Stone Array, you will find that nature is so magical. On the vast land, the peaks of the peaks rise up and each has its own demeanor. Keshiketeng Stone Array, formerly known as Ashatu Stone Forest, is located 380 kilometers northwest of Chifeng City. It is located on the Beida Mountain in Keshiketeng Banner, Chifeng City. It is one of the eight scenic spots in the Keshiketeng World Geological Park. Ashama is Mongolian, translated into "severe mountain peaks". The Kashkent Stone Formation is a unique granite landscape in the world, known as the world geological wonder. The stone lining is backed by an innocent birch grove. It is awesome, and it looks like a pagoda, or a poultry beast, such as a poultry beast. It is as vivid as it is, and it makes people scream.

The autumn is quiet, the scenery still exists, just a turn, everything has failed. This is the fall of Chifeng, a turn, a fall of the wind, the leaves fall back to the roots. I don't know how many people like autumn, and I don't know how many people use poetic and artistic words to describe the charm and sense of autumn, late autumn, drizzle, fallen leaves, wind, frost. Chifeng is very sparsely populated. It may take a few hours to drive from one scenic spot to another. It takes a long drive. Fortunately, there are endless autumn colors outside the window. Straight asphalt road, our vehicles constantly travel through the forests and grasslands, and cycle back and forth, to the most unique scenic spot in Chifeng - the Keshiketeng Stone Array.

Hamaba Slope Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Hama Dam at the border of Hebei and Inner Mongolia, a treasure trove of self-driving tour with stunning scenery
Hama Dam at the border of Hebei and Inner Mongolia, a treasure trove of self-driving tour with stunning scenery.
Hama Dam is located at the junction of the Inner Mongolia and Hebei Province, within the territory of Keshiketeng Banner, Wulanbutong. There is a small, unassuming village nestled between the rising slopes on both sides, with a small river running through the village. Without a guide in advance and relying on navigation to find the destination, many people would miss this beautiful scenery.
On the grassland, 'Dam' refers to a piece of high and gentle slope. Hama Dam is just like this, a large piece of undulating hilly slope. On the slope, in addition to the endless meadows, there are large areas of birch forests and scattered old elm trees, as well as randomly scattered shrubs. Therefore, the most beautiful time in Hama Dam is in autumn and winter. In autumn, the hillside is colorful and varied, and in winter, the snow is white and silver-wrapped, and a casual shot is a natural pastoral scroll.
Bess Cooper
The autumn scenery of Hamaba
Hamaba is located in Wulanbutong, Keshiketeng Banner, at the border of Hebei and Inner Mongolia, about 20 kilometers away from the Red Mountain Army Horse Farm.
Following the oil road to Keshiketeng Banner, passing through the Huamu Gou Forest Farm, entering the rural road to the northwest, and going forward about three or four kilometers, a high and gentle slope is right there.
This place is mostly hilly, with 'gullies' or lowlands on three sides, and a small river that can be crossed in one step, clear and winding, is the water source for livestock such as cattle and sheep.
The terrain of Hamagou is unique, and the autumn scenery is colorful and colorful. The roadside is full of tall elm and birch trees. The red leaves all over the mountains are golden and overflowing, and among the clusters of red leaves, under the hillside, in the gully, according to the mountain, there are dozens of thatched cottages and newly built red brick and tile houses scattered. The chickens crow and the dogs bark, the cooking smoke is curling up, and there is a kind of simple and primitive pastoral flavor.

In July, Jiangnan has entered the summer season! The heat is inseparable from the air conditioner! And Ulan Butong happens to be the spring season! Go to the summer, look at the blue sky, step on the green grass, meet the breeze, too comfortable! After driving for a while, I came to a scenic spot, the dam, and the people walked on the dirt road. It was seen that it was temporarily established. There are some flower fields in the distance, colorful colors. I want to see it, but I didnt have to worry. There are one brackets next to it, which are used for photographing. The lake is rippling with blue waves. I really didn't expect to have a lake. Some people on both sides are selling garlands, some vegetables, and nothing else. If you really want to say something, its probably a broad view. The road to go home is sky-high, the road is only in the scenic spot, and you have to pay the price on the scenic spot. The toll, at three in the morning, we slept at home.
The scenery of the grassland is magnificent, vast, and then interesting, but on the way, there has always been a touch of warmth.
Print creation.
The dam is located in the Ulan Buddhism of Keqi, at the junction of Hebei and Inner Mongolia. It is a gently sloping slope with three sides being "ditch" or lowland. There are many hilly hills here, the landform is unique, the autumn scenery is colorful, the red leaves in the mountains and the mountains, the flowing golden dan, the clusters of red leaves, the bright yellow birch leaves blend together, and merge into a picture of natural beauty. The dam is more than 20 kilometers away from the Red Mountain Army Horse Farm. It passes through the Huamugou Forest Farm along the oil road leading to Keqi, and enters the rural dirt road to the northwest. It then travels about three or four kilometers and climbs slowly from low to high. The place where the trees such as eucalyptus and birch are dotted is the dam. Under the hillside, in the gully, there are dozens of huts and red-brick houses scattered in the mountains. The cockerel is a cockroach, and it has a rustic and original pastoral flavor. The top of the mountain is a piece of birch tree. The mountainside is an irregular terrace. The mountain is a beautiful old banyan tree in twos and threes. In the gap between the trees, it is a round or rectangular sheepfold and bullpen. In the autumn, the mountains are divided into five colors and the valleys are fragrant; in winter, the silver is covered with snow, and the snow is snowy. Just take the camera to that one, and press the shutter to make a painting.

Dalai Lake Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Inner Mongolia is more beautiful than the sea. It is smaller than Japan. The hh/ belongs to one of Inner Mongolia's four inland lakes, and has the reputation of the third largest Swan Lake in China.
At first sight, I arrived at Lake Rinol, which is more like the sea in my eyes.
You can also take a speedboat in the scenic area, you must experience it, it is very exciting. Take a water speedboat and release the passion in Darinol Lake, letting the lake wind blow my cheeks.
Through the plank road is the south bank of Dali Lake, the water and grass are prosperous and picturesque. It is the lava of the volcano that gives birth to a beautiful ecosystem. At this lake, it is easy to pick up the blackened basalt that has been weathered for a long time. There are two abandoned iron boats in the
scenic area, which is ideal for taking pictures. Although the abandoned ship looks old, it still looks neat and tidy. It used to carry thousands of passengers on Lake Darinol.
The ship is rusty, but it still maintains a complete appearance, especially suitable for shooting emotional wind. The old guardrail and the old deck have a kind of literary and mysterious tone, and you can make a big shot with a random concave shape.
The bubble liquid bought at the entrance of the scenic spot is finally used here. When the wind blows, there will be a lot of bubbles, homemade romance. Through the breeze, enter the colorful bubble world, as if returning to the early summer.
YIYI NOTES.
Last fall, my friend and I went to Inner Mongolia. However, because there are friends who are familiar with the tour guide, this time Inner Mongolia is really different from the past. I went to see the horses and galloping, went to see the horses and flowers, everyone shouted, and all the previous trips were fake Inner Mongolia!
Morning, have a Mongolian breakfast. Milk tea is very fragrant, it is a bit unaccustomed to start eating meat when you wake up.
Go to the river to see the horses and flowers, the Wrangler's whip riding, it is just the sense of sight of the Poseidon framed chariot!
In the afternoon, riding on the grassland, watching the flock, chasing the fool.
This time the red deer is in estrus, only looking at it through the barbed wire.
When the sun is about to set, go to see the horses galloping.
Hundreds of horses ran down the hills and raised the sand, even spectacular!
There are always one or two naughty who want to run away, but they are chased back by the Wrangler.
Night, you can go to Darinol Lake to eat a slider fish that has been on China on the tip of your tongue.
The sunset on the prairie is really majestic!
Especially at the lakeside, the afterglow is scattered on the lake. There are several colors on the endless grassland, and the light is shining and flashing. It is an unforgettable sight.
The only downside is that the accommodation is too bad. This is also the main reason why I have been rejecting Inner Mongolia before. I believe that many of my friends and I have given up a place because the supporting facilities are incomplete. In fact, China's natural beauty is really a lot, I really hope that the support of these places can be perfected. After all, travel experience is more than just watching the scenery...

The lake area is rich in squid and the local squid, commonly known as the Chinese carp. These fish are known for their meaty taste.
