First time drive (round trip) on this drive, lots of beautiful scenery along the drive. Was a bit cloudy and strong wind so the water wasn't as clear and calm
The only way to Key West is, in this regard, unique. The 7 mile bridge looks very long, but it is actually just a signpost compared to the road of life.
A 3.5-hour drive from Miami, along the US-1 cross-sea Route 1, self-driving is an infinite tropical island scenery. The Google map shows the four main islands of Key Largo, Islamorada, Marathon, Big Pine Key, and Seven Mile Bridge. They all belong to the Florida Keys group. Most people will choose Seven Mile Bridge to stay for a while. This is the longest bridge in Florida and a cross-sea bridge that was once devastated by hurricanes.
The Seven Mile Bridge, the longest of the 42 bridges connecting the Florida Keys to the southern tip of Florida, is 6.79 miles long. The bridge built in the early part of the last century was originally a railway bridge for trains. Unfortunately, after two hurricanes in 1935 and 1960, the old bridge was overwhelmed. The new bridge that was built between 1972 and 1982 is now used. The old bridge is on the left in Figure 1, and the new bridge is on the right. This is one of the locations where "True Lies" was filmed.
The bridge to KEY WEST is very beautiful, like a necklace hanging in the Caribbean Bay, connecting all the islands. The total length is more than 300 kilometers. It was built in the 70s and almost all built on the sea. It is very spectacular. The Seven Mile Bridge is Part of it is an abandoned section. The climax of the movie "True Lies" was shot here.
The Seven Mile Bridge, the Seven Wonders of the World. I fucking love Florida very nice! ! The sunset over the Caribbean Sea taken by key west... can be said to be the most perfect sunset I have ever seen! !
