E49***88Nice view with traditional Japanese atmosphere. I went there in April 2019, the weather was warm (upto 26-28C during day time) Stayed in Otaru for 2 nights, so I can see the different views during daytime and night time. Like Otaru Canal very much, the canal, fresh air and the view seems liked bring you back to 100 years ago. Wanted to go again in Winter time, must be a very different scenes.
行走地球的猫The Otaru Music Box Museum is very close to the South Otaru Station. It takes only five or six minutes to walk from the station. There is a large iconic steam bell at the door, so you will not miss it. Walking in is like entering the world of fairy tales. The sound of Ding Ding Dong Dong music is endless, and the shape of the music box has its own merits. Cartoon, traditional, elegant, and romantic are all so exquisite and dazzling. There are antique music boxes from all over the world upstairs. You can also choose your favorite music box to buy, the price ranges from a few hundred yen to tens of thousands of yen, and there are many choices. And don’t forget to sit next to the bear and make a card to remember this wonderful moment.
