What people are saying:

Alta Lake State Park is located in a gorge carved by a glacier. The surrounding scenery includes both high mountains and coniferous forests and deserts. It is rich and changeable. Although the park suffered a forest fire in 2014, it is now full of vitality. The scenery, the 2 miles long trail takes you around the lake.

    Fantastic

Every time they built a new dam, they had created yet another beautiful recreation area. Lots of boating and fishing.
