when Gunter, a German national, was still around the place and food was one of the best german food around with service to match. after he left us many years ago the wife pretty much left the restaurant to her filipino staff and that was a grave mistake. i was attracted to return to gunter's due to the "all u can eat" from 6-8pm. if that offer is still available than this is how it works. u order your dish from a verity n wait for half an hour for them to prepare it. once arrived its gone in 10min so i order again and they take their sweet time running from one table to another another half hour killed. i make my second order n comment to the waiter that it takes far too long to order each dish n u don't allow me to order multiple dish at once. attitude n look from the waiter reflects an image of "take it or leave". so i get my second order after another 40min waiting and that was all u can eat. its pretty much a con job. i never returned and the filipino staff really hv an attitude issue that needs fixing or else this place is going down hill. aside from that its located in a house which which is next to a chinese cemetery, so ample of parking. the deco kinda old with artificial flowers all over the place making it look like you've been invaded by wield flowers but it gives that romantic feel n so u will find a lot of couples there. i guess its a good place to bring your date away from the bizy st. perhaps if u order the a la carte menu u might hv a better experience. food is still good but many of the german dish is no longer available and gunter's wife is indian so expect some indian food on the menu. aside from my displease experience its worth a visit. 5/10
