What travelers say:
This is my second time here in past 2 years. Both times we ordered the higher range whole package that comes with mini abalone and roast pork. I guess most people would have heard of Loon Sin Buddha Jumping Wall Restaurant at Seremban and related the two when they come here for dining. Here are my comments on the few epic dishes based on my visit last week on the CNY package worth RM1,388 that we have ordered: 1) buddha jumping wall - this is super disappointing, Any normal shop with basic soup would have tasted better than this. I would even feel that the chef has lost respect and integrity on the food. The soup was pretty much like plain soup. Though the ingredient seems complete inside - ham, dry scallop etc all can be seen, there is really no taste on it at all. I doubt the chef really use the required number of days to double boil the soup. 2) roast baby pork - this is oily, dark and portion with meat is even under cooked! This is the first time i ever see raw pork meat on a roast pork 3) Mini abalone with sea cucumber - again, the sauce of the dish is tasteless. there is no abalone taste, which should be easily available from the sauce within abalone can itself. There is clearly no time for braising of this dish. The ingredient were probably only gone through boiling water and then served Overall there is no fusion with Thai at all. I can't see how can this restaurant being called Oriental Thai. The only thing good from the whole course of meal was the australian Dou Bou fish (left mouth fish). This is also due to the fact that fresh fish only need to be steamed and this fish is not that easily over-cooked. I would not recommend anyone to try their abalone or buddha jumping wall related meals.
