I having mee siam while my bf hving nasi lemak. I like the mee siam when it mix with the sauce. But its a bit pricy, as it is a tourist spot. Old style restaurant with old style smell as well.
Food could have been tastier. Pongteh falls short, and sago's coconut milk was n't fresh.
They have Sui sien here but the quality so so only
Go 4 chicken rendang-right balance of spices and coconut milk, Tasty Mee Siam. I would skip the Nyonya laksa & lemak nenas squid, they were average. Service: used to be good, now its sporadic & slow.
Start with nyonya pai tee –- deep-fried wheat flour served with condiments such as bean sprouts, shredded turnip, carrots and dried shrimp –- which comes with a side of chili for stronger flavor.
A lot has been said about this place. It's just a restaurant. Come back if found the taste that you like. For the record, it's my kinda taste. #foodastic #oldchinacafe #malaysiaveryoriginal
Love the environment here, food is good but the dishes portion is rather small... Service wise, certainly can improve... Must try is their local Melaka coffee, superb!
Cozy place. Tried the mee siam and tasted ok. Pricey tho.
Devil pork curry is one of the good items here
It's a place i'd not be ashamed to recommend to tourists. The food is decent from a local's perspective, and the environment is fancy.
