In 1984, a painting by famous chinese artist Chen Yifei announced Zhouzhuang Water Town to the world, and since then Zhouzhuang has been regarded by many as one of the best water towns in China. This ancient town has a history of more than 900 years old with many houses built in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Known as Yao City or Zhenfang lane in ancient times, the town was once a part of the Kingdom of Wu, playing an important role in the distribution of silk, ceramics, art pieces, and food. With lakes on the four sides, the beauty of Zhouzhuang has to be discovered through its water lanes and stone bridges. Taking a boat ride would be an interesting option to tour around the town. Famous sites include Zhang Hall, Shen Hall, and the underwater tomb of Shen Wansan, a famous Yuan Dynasty Businessman. If you stay around till the lights light up at night, you can enjoy a view that is seemingly made up from a fairytale.
Jinxi Ancient Town is located on the shores of the Dianshan Lake in the southern suburbs of Kunshan, and is a riverside town in Southern China with thousands of years. The ancient town is not very large. The ancient lotus bridge that resembles a Chinese landscape painting and the mysterious tomb of Princess Chen have attracted many tourists here to explore. The various folk museums are also worth visiting. There are also plenty of snack bars on the old street. In addition, the town's civic collection museums include the old bricks museum, the purple sand pottery museum and the pottery museums that are full of antiques, and a cultural revolution collection museum that allows visitors to revisit history. The snacks on the old street include Jinxi specialties such as Wadisu, Changlong mooncakes, crabapple cake, tied pork and other Jiangnan specialty foods.
TAMU Fun Amusement Park is a large-scale indoor amusement park tailored to kids 2 - 18 years in age and a place where parents can interact and have fun with their children by playing games together. The Park offers a number of rides, including rolling wheels, bumper cars, bumper boats, cliff climbing, etc. and is an ideal place for children with its ample playing space.
Qiandeng Ancient Town is located in Kunshan, Suzhou. It is a typical ancient southern Chinese canal town with a history of more than 2,500 years. Qiandeng Old Town is the birthplace of Kunqu Opera and Jiangnan traditional music. It boasts a relatively intact stone slate street as well as ancient houses in good condition. The town preserves the Yu's pawn shop, and major attractions include the former residence of Gu Yanwu; the tomb of Gu Yanwu; Qinfeng Tower, a thousand-year-old ancient tower; and the Gu Jian Memorial.
The Water Dream Park stands on the west side of Zu Chongzhi Road and on the south side of Jinxiu Road. This large water theme park in the Yangtze River Delta has a large wave pool, a high "quick slide," the only imported six-slide combination in China, a stimulating large horn slide, a covered super slide, and an entertainment facility designed specifically for children.
Carton King is a chain enterprise in Taiwan. This carton king theme creative park in Zhouzhuang is full of exquisite paper art, even the counters and chairs are made of paper. Tourists can tour around, eat, shop, and even stay here for the night. There is also a carton king post office in the park where you can buy and post postcards. The postbox there is also made of paper. The Carton Zoo exhibits a variety of paper animals that are loved by kids. The Wansan Pavilion showcases paper-made Shen Hall in Zhouzhuang, which is very interesting.
The Kunshan "Four Seasons Zhouzhuang" Performance is a live performance of the water town in China. The performance is carried out in the classic environment of "small bridge, flowing water, and people house". The one of a kind water-town performance method is used to recreate the cultural characteristics of Zhouzhuang, a Chinese water village and its charming charm. The three chapters of the performance - the fisherman's song, the fisherwoman, the fisherman's lamp, and the fishery performance of the "Shuiyun Zhouzhuang".
Situated in the town focus of Zhouzhuang Ancient Town, Shuangqiao is made out of Shide Bridge and Yong'an Bridge. The extensions of the two scaffolds are even and vertical. The scaffolds and openings are on one side and resemble an antiquated key, so it is generally known as the key bridge. In 1984, Chen Yifei's artistic creation "Memory of his Hometown" was predominantly made out of Shuangqiao. Shuangqiao was celebrated for this, and Zhouzhuang was additionally acclaimed in China and abroad. Shuangqiao was built in the Ming Dynasty, and a short time later it was repaired more than once. The impression of the scaffold over the waterway and the extension itself constitute a standard circle. It is flawlessly formed and is the question of photography and outlining for photography lovers and understudies of the Academy of Fine Arts.
Tinglin Park is located in the northwest corner of Kunshan City. It was built in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Warlord Era to commemorate the patriotic scholar Gu Yanwu of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Yufeng Mountain, also known as Ma'an Mountain, is to the north of the park. To the south, on the east side, is the exhibition hall and amusement park, on the west side is a lake. Visitors here mainly look at "Kunshan's Three Treasures", Kunshi, Chinese Snowball Viburnum and Twin Lotus Flowers on One Stalk. Locals often come to the park for walks and exercise. The park contains many ancient trees and lovely surroundings.
When traveling in China, there is perhaps no more historical location to explore than the Shen Hall. An expansive representation on architecture from the Mong and Qing Dynasties (constructed during Emperor Quianlong 7th year), Shen Hall boast a large front and back hall, with a family arrangement. Originally named Jingyetang, and then Song Maotang, Shen Hall was finally named after it's original constructor, Shen Benren (relative of the famous Shen Wansan).
