Dai's House is located on the bank of Zhenfeng Bridge in West Street of Zhongshi City. It faces south from the north. Three independent buildings are connected along the street and built in the early years of the Republic of China. The three houses are built independently but closely connected to form a whole, each with four entrances and two wing houses, there are more than 60 large and small houses, forming a water town architectural pattern with a front store, a lower store and an upper house, and a deep house compound.
The commercial residence built by the three Dai brothers for business. The Miyake is independent and closely connected. It is now Huajiantang. Behind the front desk of the homestay is the drawer of the medicine shop, which is very distinctive.
Dai's house as a cultural relics protection unit in Kunshan, Jiangsu. The inscription "Hua Caly Lianhui" by Tao Weituo, a talented scholar upstairs in the courtyard gate, means that the brothers of the Dai family are connected and will be able to prosper their family business. The gatehouse with double eaves, wind and fire wall, inscribed "Yanxi Yize" on the forehead, which means to miss the hometown. The patios between the halls are connected with carved beams and painted buildings, which is quite bold.
The old mansion can reflect the prosperity of the family at that time
Now it is Huajiantang, decorated in a chic style. It’s a good experience to stay in an old house of a large family.
