House of Sake Brewery Owner
We wanted to visit another sake brewery before going back to Sapporo, and decided to stop by Kitanonishiki. Next to the brewery was the old residence of the owner that was built in 1897. The family st...
This is the house of the founder of Kobayashi Sake Brewery (brand name: Kita no Nishiki) in Kuriyama Town, and it seems that it is now used as a cafe. Unfortunately, it was closed until April 16, 2024. The exterior was wonderful with a curved half-timbered roof like a temple.
The old folk house where the president of Kobayashi Sake Brewery lived is now open as a coffee shop. There are amazake afoguard and amazake Shiruko, but after all, amazake single item is the best recommendation! We also sell amazake for take-out.
The residence adjacent to the factory was quaint. At that time, I was impressed by the appearance of a mansion and the many trees reminded me of the prosperity of that time. Even those who are not good at drinking amazake Shiruko at the cafe can eat it. The kelp hollowed out on the pattern of the bean dish came with it, and the coffee was delicious with handmade dried sweets. Grandma, daughter, bride protects cafes, galleries, sets amazake matcha, etc. to protect tangible cultural properties ...
