The highlight of tonight-recommended by Michelin, Kikunoi. Book almost a month in advance, and use different grades of ingredients at different prices. Each dish is like a work of art, and even the menu is available in Japanese and English. It is printed on beautiful Japanese paper and can be taken home as a souvenir. There will be detailed instructions for each dish. Of course, there are basically no Chinese waiters. Fortunately, we have local students from Osaka who can translate, otherwise we will not know what we have eaten.
We went there for an upscale Japanese kaiseki lunch of 11 courses. This makes the whole experience even more special one of the rarest is that you will be overlooking the garden or at least some green in a private room restaurant. (You won't get a private room if you go there just for a normal lunch - like a lunch box lunch). All the dishes are well prepared and made - a must see attraction. Yes, as mentioned in other reviews combined taste rich experience is not necessarily because you may be in a 3 star hotel - superior kitchen. This is not because it is Kikunois philosophy also introduced chef booking. It was hard for me to judge the food average, obviously there are a lot of ingredients I never had the highest quality of the new flavors and we are experienced. To be honest I enjoyed but not always finishing always to keep the highest standards. Great service and very friendly - spoke fluent English and everything was very detailed in English ( and so was the menu). All in all we spent 3 hours on the menu and had a wonderful time and a lifetime experience. The taste in many places is in the city center. The food experience here will be the center of attention with great environment and presentations. For the price that you are shocked about - maybe you will be willing to spend $100 more than the concert ticket for an hour and a half. You will spend a little more here but cheat three hours. Make sure to book early as possible in a few rooms but have a high demand.
