"Very clean, modern and comfortable room. Small but perfectly fine for solo travel, and in any case most rooms in Japan are on the smaller side. Very friendly staff and if you arrive before check in you are welcome to use the WIFI and grab a free coffee while you wait, which was a nice touch."

"Excellent stay. Close to Karasuma subway station and train to Osaka. Also close to the Nishiki Market which is full of street food and shopping. Room and WIFI great. I had issues with an alarm that kept going off at 8am which I didn't set, but it was dealt with efficiently. Definitely going to stay here next time!"

"walk 10 mins to kyoto station.to catch bus or train. many eateries at the station or nearby. there is a 24 hours japanese restaurant within 1 min walk. good and good priced japan.food and noodles. across the street is avanti shop mall. there are two 24 hours convenient stores within a minute walk. you can get a day bus pass at yen600 from kyoto station...there is a bus service desk. more and very convenient to travel by buses to anywhere. buffet breakfast is great at the lobby floor of hotel . public hotbath at 2nd floor is great and relaxing. hotel room of 21 sq meter is spacious enough. separate toilet and bathroom is good. bed is comfy. what a great hotel ! location is ok but most busy district is around shijo area. you can take bus or underground train to shijo area...just 10 mins. at about yen250 each journey.. gym is too small not much equipment. they should buy more equipment to be a real gym PLEASE ! the loads of bird **** right outside hotel entrance and building is horrible and filthy. why management did not spend little money or efforts to clean them daily or every few days ? a potential health or virus risk for the visitors or guests. i cannot understand . more reasonable room rate should be usd80 for twin bed plus breakfast for 2 persons during this low seaon of february. that will be a greater hotel."

"Location is quite remote from attraction and shopping place. Got room on low floor which could not open curtain. No view only hotel next door neighbor’s wall. Maybe got cheaper rate then this was what I got. Too bad that did not take picture of window with no view, only very near wall of neighbor. "

"We are a little bit upset. First, when we came, we park our car in the hotel parking in the basement, however we traped in the car line to enter the park. Apperently, the park is full but there was no sign in the entrence, and people woth their car keep went inside the basement because they think there is a park there. We waited for two hours in the car with not a single staff appeared. Some people were getting angry. One of us finally went to receptionist and they said they don’t know what happen in the park area. It was around 9 pm and we waited until around 11 pm, and everyone tired after long trip. The staff came and finally called the parking staff. And finally, they asked everyone just to get back to exit but it was chaos because many cars were there in the line. It was so hard for us. Second, we asked the hotel staff is there any compesation for us for waiting two hours in car, and they said they don’t have anything to offer. Third, we went to the room, the food lamp was can not turn on and the fan in the bathroom also did not work. The only thing makes us comfortable is the receptionist keep polite and try her best to comfort us. She did her job very well but the management of the hotel makes us not comfortable. You can imagine what happen that time. We understand it was golden week, but please do better. Thank you."

"The hotel next to Kyoto train station, I booked a twin beds room that room size is quite big. A underground shopping mall next to the hotel a lot to shop and restaurants. Will stay there next time. "

"It's right to save money and fix it here. The hotel is located in Shijo Omiya. The downstairs is the starting point of the direct tram to Arashiyama. There are direct buses to all major attractions. A few steps away is Kyoto Station to Fushimi, Nara. For the convenience of transportation, it is really good Place, not to mention there is fresco next to the station. It is cheap and delicious to eat local seafood. It will be set here next time you visit Kyoto."

"In close proximity to the Kyoto JR station, Isetan, Aeon amongst other shopping facilities. The room is decent in size and the concierge is helpful with making local restaurant bookings and providing travel recommendations, but bear in mind that it shuts pretty early so do approach the concierge earlier if you need help there.
