St. Louis Cemetery No. 1

Our guide saved our tour of the graveyard. The original one hour tour turned into a two and a half hour tour because our guide Arthur was so raucous about most of the attractions. The other tour groups seemed to have passed by in a hurry.

Just like Nicholas Cage did before, come and watch before he ruined it. It looks really cool, Mary Laveau's three generations of cemeteries are here, and there are many cool people (except Nicholas Cage) buried here.

Visiting the cemetery is a great way to get to know New Orleans better. It's a place to bury the dead, a place for family funerals, a reservoir, a history of illness, characters (Nora always existed in their hearts) and witchcraft. What else do you ask for??
