Of Pearl Harbor's many historic ships the affectionately named "Mighty Mo" might just be the most famous one still holding water. It was from the deck of this very vessel that General Douglas MacArthur signed the document officially signifying the end of the war in the pacific, and generally putting the final nail in the coffin on one of the world's darkest chapters. The huge guns found adorning this proud battleship are now a remnant of an era long since past in terms of naval strategy. Take the opportunity to check out this fleeting example of the pinnacle of cannoned bearing ocean power that also happens to be one of the most historic battleships in the fleet.
worthy to visit to know WWII history
This memorial was fascinating and very well done! I loved seeing how a ship works as well as learning about the history of WWII.

This historical battleship is best known as the place where Japan surrendered but there's so much more to see. Try your best the schedule the USS Memorial at the beginning or end of your stay so you won't feel rush here.
The bloodiest war in human history was brought to an end on this amazing ship.
