Observation Deck
Modern Architecture
The iconic landmark left by the 1962 World's Fair, the Space Needle comprises the most recognizable feature of one of the most famous skylines in the world. Climb to the top for 360 views of Seattle and get your souvenirs at the gift shop on the bottom floor. The rotating restaurant, Skyline, serves up dizzying dishes and a rare experience.
University of Washington
366 Reviews
The University of Washington is Washington State’s university system, comprised of three campuses in Seattle, Tacoma and Bothell. "The University of Washington" is generally used to denote the Seattle campus, which is the oldest public university on the west coast and widely considered one of the best public institutions in the country. The school sits on a beautiful piece of land that offers views of two bays and two mountain ranges. Mt. Shasta is visible from many points on campus. Sports are a dominant part of life at the school, with men’s football and basketball drawing huge crowds and alumni support. The university has dedicated itself to sustainable practices, and currently ranks in the top fifteen most sustainable universities.
The Museum of Flight
84 Reviews
The Museum of Flight gives you a complete look at the history of aviation and how it changed throughout the years since the Wright brothers took their first flight. The museum sits in the heart of Seattle, Washington and opens its doors every day from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. for the old and young alike. The museum hosts various events and shows that anyone can come to if they have an interest. The events change from month to month, so check back often for new updates on events coming up on the schedule. One of the great things about The Museum of Flight is that they give discounted rates for larger groups of people.
Kerry Park
132 Reviews
City Park
Kerry Park in Seattle is a hillside park that gives an excellent view to the Seattle skyline, especially thanks to the steel sculpture "Changing Form" that stands in the middle of the park. The park is located at 211 W. Highland Drive in Seattle and is managed by the Seattle Parks and Recreation Department. If you are a photography fan, you are sure to enjoy the unique view of the Space Needle and all of Seattle in panoramic beauty. The park is open to the public throughout the year and weddings and other events may be held on the site. An excellent place to picnic or just enjoy a sunny afternoon, Kerry Park is walking distance from dozens of hotels and museums, making it a highlight of any trip into the city. Oddly, the park is referred to (incorrectly) as "Highland Park" because of its position on Highland Drive.
