We drove there, hoping to see the spectacular scenery. The top of the hotel is closed, so you can only go to an observation deck near the top, where there is no 360 degree view. I wanted to go out to find more, but was hit by a huge storm. If you choose to hike to Raya Mountain, you will face the challenge of climbing 4200 steps. This is a wonderful hike. You will appreciate the beauty of the jungle and listen to the sounds of nature, although you have to climb many steps. Before climbing the mountain, please be prepared and bring plenty of water, because there is nothing here except the steps. The cafe on the top of the mountain was closed while we were climbing, so I cannot comment on it.

Highest peak of LangkawiThis is the highest peak of Langkawi island. We as a couple visited this place. We hired a Hatchback car from the hotel rental services. As it was Eid Ul Fitre, biggest muslim festival, the car cost us MSR 90 for 24 hour period. It is advised that not to go at night as the roads are not straight. It takes time to reach the top as the roads are zig zag. Once you have reached it was wonderful. You can spend some time and take pictures as well.
It took a long time for the winding mountain road to reach the top of the mountain. I wanted to overlook the panoramic view of Langkawi from Raya Mountain, but when I reached the top of the mountain, I couldn’t see the entire Langkawi at all, only Raya Mountain surrounded by clouds and fog. .
Raya Mountain is said to be able to see the panoramic view of Langkawi, so we went, anyway, it is self-driving, the oil is cheap, do not go to Baihe, it will be a bit cold after reaching the mountain, it is recommended to prepare a thin coat , There is also a hotel that looks deserted.
The view of Raya Mountain is great. It is the highest point of Langkawi Island. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can look around most of Langkawi Island. It is recommended to drive up the mountain by yourself because there is almost no public transportation in Langkawi. The journey takes about half an hour.
