Xiguan Mosque of Lanzhou was built for Muslim merchants during either the Ming Dynasty, Hongwu or Ming Dynasty, Yongle Period. The original temple was demolished during the "Cultural Revolution" period, but was later rebuilt in a traditional Arabic-Islamic style in 1986. The Mosque has four floors which include main Hall, lecture hall and offices. The mosque has also had the pleasure of training many Islamic scholars. Every year, more than 100 foreign Muslims come to visit and worship in the mosque.
