Photos of Zhuangyan Temple

In the thirteenth year of Daye (617), Xue Ju made Zhuangyan Temple his imperial palace after proclaiming himself emperor in Lanzhou. After Tang Pingding Xue Ju, it was changed to a Buddhist temple, consisting of a mountain gate, wing rooms, front hall, main hall, and rear hall. On the plaque of the original mountain gate, there are six characters "Edict Da Zhuangyan Temple", written by Li Puguang, a famous calligrapher in the Yuan Dynasty, and the font is strong. The mural of Guanyin on the back wall of the main hall is dignified and graceful, dressed in white, like a gauze, with willow branches in a clean bottle, green as new.
