Very clean, tasty and affordable. It's a family business owned by Ziad Farah. His wife is the cook. Home made dishes are prepared and served with a smile. BYOW policy allows you to enjoy business, friends and family get togethers. Good place for Christmas, Retirements, Birthdays and any kind of occasions. Free Parking is no problem at all. Mr Farah will help you choose from the menu with no hesitation. Call in to reserve if you are planning a group supper or lunch. Try the succulent experience. You won't regret it.
having visited multiple Arabic and Lebanese restaurants in the Montreal region this is one that will offer you the most delicious food exceptional service and most of all the family will make you feel like you are the king. It's without a surprise that it's called "La cave du roi" . Thank you for the awesome night.
We had the pleasure of celebrating Mother's Day there and the ultimate complement came from our 85 year young - super Italian cook mother who said the food was tasty and YES, should will go back!! Portions and variety were fine....staff was courteous and ambiance - despite the busy rhythm was fun.
Great service. Very polite and respectful. Clean white tablecloth. Fireplaces on walls instead of paintings... which make the place kinda cozy. The taster's menu (not available on saturdays) was very good. We got to try plenty of their delicious specialties. Everything was perfect. We went on a thursday night. Had brought our own wine. It was amazing. Went back on a saturday night... It was another story. Food was cold. Rice was undercook and taste like a Minute yellow rice mix with frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots). The fries,... probably the cheapest kind of frozen fries you can buy! We left with our plates half full. A total disapointment. So I have mixed feelings... Will probably go back for the Taster's menu and see if we were lucky on our first visit or if the second visit was the real picture.
