A very interesting experience we visited here on our way from Waterton Park to Forney and didn’t know what was going to happen, but spent a lot of time here because of being drawn to history. Leaf gave us a great personal introduction and guide as it was off-season and therefore the surrounding area was relatively less touristy. Spread on 5 floors and you can also walk on top and bottom of the cliffs, where you can easily spend more than 3 hours. Unfortunately, the cafeteria was closed due to the time we visited, as we would have loved to try some of the food we saw on the menu.

Visitors who dare to challenge the height can try their hand at the observation deck, the floor of the observation deck is made of transparent glass, about 11 meters long, 1.5 meters wide, and extend outwards, standing here as if suspended in the sky, absolutely exciting.
It is the oldest, largest and best preserved bison cliff jumping place in the world.
One of the most amazing places to visit during the trip is the Bison Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Buffalo Thousands of years ago, the intelligent and brave black-footed people rode horses to the edge of the cliff, watching these behemoths fall down the cliff in inertia, which was the way Aboriginal hunting was at that time. [Museum]: Now a museum has been built on the mountain in this land with many historical relics. Some introductions and exhibitions about this history and this land~ The entire museum is divided into three floors, and the stairs are built on the mountain. Especially the lobby really restores the historical situation of the bison crushed cliff. A few bison are really driven to the cliff and may fall down at any time~ The whole display is diverse in forms, historical pictures, relics, antiquities, scene restoration and a special video hall video introduction, etc. Show us the ancient history of this land~ Of course, here will also learn and learn a lot about the tribes and ethnic civilizations, words, customs, places of residence, etc. The museum also has a guide and introduction, but it is a pure English introduction, there are also introductions next to each visit point, and they are only in English. [Transportation advice]: There is currently no public transportation, and it is far from downtown Calgary, it takes about two hours to drive, suitable for self-driving or chartered with a group~
Located at the junction of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and the largest plain in North America, it is the oldest, largest and best preserved bison cliff jumping site in the world. UNESCO added bison cliffs to the World Heritage List in 1981. The black-footed people who used to live here used their familiarity with the terrain and understanding of bison habits, riding Hummer in groups and leading the roaring hounds, driving the bison to the running chase trail separated by hundreds of stone marks, and finally joined forces behind them to block and intercept. The bison had nowhere to escape, and fell more than a dozen meters high in a panic and confusion. Now walking on this vast plain, not so steep, cliff edge, I would have thought that hundreds of bison were coming from afar. I was fortunate to wear a complete wolf skin made of specimens, when I approved, I was still a little timid, feeling that the wolf and I were close at hand, as if I was under its control.
