The traditional Tibetan compound where the exhibition hall is located is called "Chongsai Kangzha Kang". The Qing Dynasty government established the first minister in Tibet, Anmen, for the office and residence of the minister in Tibet. Since the minister can enjoy the bustling scene of Barkhor Street from the window of the south building of the compound, it is called "Chong Saikang", meaning "can see the house of the market."

Located on the northeast side of Jokhang Temple, you can take a look at the Jokhang Temple after visiting it. It is also a key cultural relics protection unit in the country. It is a three-story Tibetan building with a picture exhibition, you can understand the history, and it is free.
