Xinpu Park is one of the earliest urban parks in Lianyungang City, which was built in 1956. Xinpu Park is located in the south of Xinpu old urban area, south of Longhai Pedestrian Street, west of Xiyan River, and south of Hailian Road, covering an area of 110 mu (including 16.17 mu of water area and 93.82 mu of land area). Xinpu Park was originally planned as a comprehensive cultural and rest park in Xinpu, using garden materials and techniques to organize the construction of scenic spots, scenic spots, children's playgrounds, animal viewing exhibition areas, flower cultivation and viewing areas and waterside pavilions. In the east gate of the park, two tall and elevated cedar trees are the obstacle. The flower beds on both sides of the road are green and green, and the flowers are in full bloom in the four seasons. The artificial lake of 30 acres is sparkling. Lying on the lake, the waterside pavilion in Jinan is low on the wooden surface. Sitting in the pavilion and drinking tea, you can see the surrounding landscape and the reflection of the waves on the water surface. Looking to the northeast, there is an earth hill made of mud from a dredged pond. The trees are lush, the mountains are not high, and it is easy to climb. The Flower Museum was built in 1987, which is a comprehensive landscape garden antique building complex imitating the architectural structure of the Qing Dynasty and the layout of gardens in the south of the Yangtze River.
