Gulou Square

It takes a little imagination to call it a square or a scenic spot. The Guangyue Tower is located in the center of the old city of Liaocheng. Its surroundings require an extension for protection and transportation. The so-called Gulou Square is nothing more than this. There are some shops around, a little antique, sitting in the shadow of Guangyue Tower, turning around, it's almost there.

Liaocheng Yamen is located in the West Street of the Gulou District of Liaocheng. It faces south and walks west from Guangyue Tower. I went to work last year at Guangyue Xuan, which is opposite the Yamen. It is free when I go there. Tourism has just started, and it hasn't been commercialized yet. Many places are still in their original state and have not been developed. The current ancient Yamen was rebuilt later, and various departments have been restored very well, including torture rooms, household rooms, and dining rooms. It is recommended to start from one side and look at the other side first, then walk to the north and then come back from the other side, so that all the buildings inside can be seen. There are many small courtyards in the Yamen to see, and many fruit trees are planted. When I went there, the apricots and pomegranate were both ripe. I tasted one that was not very sweet.
