Daju

Through the local driver master, I heard the car to Daju, and saw Ganhaizi, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain all the way, and walked around the mountain to Daju, a magical village. There were almost no people on the quiet road. I couldn't help but smile and say hello. There are small trees on the side of the road, cactus, looking at the bright flowers, looking up to see the Haba Snow Mountain, the white mountain top seems to be not far away, into the yard of each home to see warm smiles and blooming flowers. Living at Grandma Naxi's home, eating with them at the table, tasting Grandma's walnuts and making tea, warm, this may be my dream of a beautiful home on the way to the long journey!

On the left is Haba Snow Mountain, on the right is Yulong Snow Mountain. Jinhong Village in Daju Township is at the foot of these two snowy mountains. Behind the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain there is a dam called Daju, from which the Jinsha River passes, bringing a lot of fertile soil. Many plants that cannot grow in Lijiang Dam can thrive in Daju. Since the valley bottom is only 1870 meters above sea level, coupled with the hot valley effect, the climate is hot, and there are many cactus jungles growing by the river. "Dai" Naxi means "hot pot bottom". This climate is very common in Yunnan, and if you have been to Honghezhou in southern Yunnan, you will be familiar with this feeling. Because the bottom of the dam is soft sand and rocks, it can't withstand the earthquake. If you encounter flood discharge from the lake on the upper reaches of the Jinsha River last year, it will be very dangerous, so some people with money always want to build their houses on the rocky formations on the hillside. Especially Emeizhi Village, backed by Yulong Snow Mountain, looking at Haba Snow Mountain, is spectacular. Crossing the Jinsha River and entering the Shangri-La border, going 80 kilometers forward, the next place of Haba Snow Mountain is called "Baishuitai". The Dongba culture of the Naxi people originates from this. It was once the highest altar of Dongba faith. Genesis of the Naxi people was born here. There are also Pumi, Mosuo, Yi and Yi people who live on the cliffs. Jinsha Township was the only channel for Dazhi to go outside, and it has realized mutual exchanges and ethnic integration. Today, many young people are fighting in Lijiang. Although it is 98 kilometers away from Lijiang City, due to the winding mountain road, the road takes 4 hours to walk. The elderly who stay in Daji enjoy the scenery like a fairyland. The sunrise and sunset are quiet. When I came here, standing on my brows, the first reaction was to open a homestay here...
