Sifang Street is the representative of Lijiang Ancient Street. It is located at the core of the ancient city and the center of Dayan Ancient City. Shops on both sides of the street are lined with five-flowered stone paving. From the four corners of Sifang Street, Guangyi Street, Qiyi Street, Wuyi Street, four main streets of Xinhua Street, and many streets and lanes branch off from the four main streets, forming the current pattern of the ancient city. Sifang Street has a history of more than 800 years of construction since the early Yuan Dynasty. What you think you see is a street, but it is actually a central square in the ancient city. Square Street is said to be built according to the shape of a cow in the Mu Family Tusi period of the Ming Dynasty. An important transportation hub on the Ancient Tea Horse Road, there have been many merchants since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and it has become more prosperous. Now in Sifang Street, many old Naxi people can be seen dancing here in the early morning and evening, and the relaxed expression is enviable. There are many inns and chain hotels around Sifang Street. I personally don't recommend them. There are too many bars. There are singing and drinking at 1 and 2 at night. Shopping for the same goods around Sifang Street is much more expensive, and there are a lot of shopping spots in travel agencies, silverware and jadeware are the most watery, sometimes they can be bought at a discount of 10%, so you should choose carefully. Compared with Sifang Street, I still prefer to walk through those alleys. There are not many tourists here and it is a little quiet. But the scenery is quite different, with small bridges and flowing water, poetic flowing. There are green leaves and red flowers, either growing in the air, or around the doorway. There are also carved doors and windows and a long bluestone road. Being in it seems to have come to the land of Jiangnan fireworks. The poetic and picturesque environment is intoxicating.
