Kaifu Temple is located in Kaifu District, Changsha City, and is one of the key open Buddhist temples in China. It is an ancient temple where Changsha incense is very prosperous. Locals often come here to pray and go to Guanyin Temple to turn to Guanyin. The fragrance in Kaifu Temple is slightly different from that of the general temple. Instead of inserting the incense burner after the incense, the incense is thrown directly into the incense burner. On the central axis behind the Jingxiang Square, there are the Maitreya Temple, the Daxiong Hall and the Pilu Temple. On the east side of the temple, there is a newly built Great Hall of Sorrow. The center of the temple is dedicated to the Guanyin statue and the child of good fortune. On the wall inside the temple, there are eighty-four images of the oil painting Guanyin Bodhisattva.
