Although it is a lovely location and they serve great mojitos while you wait to be seated, the 45-minute wait is too long.
The meat is really really nice! The service is great though quite slow when you want to pay and leave.
Exquisite meat options and very fair prices. The surroundings, including the botanical garden, were amazing!
This place is a bit of a find and something you should know upfront. This shows as most of the people that visited the restaurant reserved a table in advance, but we didn't.. Meat is the main thing to go to Atalho as they serve the best meats like wagyu (€25 for 250gr with 2 sidedishes). In a tiny kitchen the chef prepares your dishes and in front of this kitchen you can see all the meats they serve and they will advice you when needed. The staff is very friendly and helpfull and will do everything to make you comfortable. As we had to wait several minutes to be seated we've received a drink and menu and could eventually choose two options to sit. Great place!
Wow! What a meal! We ordered two steak plates (one wagyu and one fillet) they were cooked to perfection and so delicious that we ended up going back to their other restaurant in the palace the next day for sandwiches. One tip is that we were really jealous of all the provolone cheese plates coming out of the kitchen so we would definitely order that next time.
We had to wait quite a bit because they are so busy, but it was worth every second. We had a Wagyu Fillet and it was so amazing, it just melted in your mouth. The Wedges and also the Coleslaw were great. The Staff were so lovely and knew what they are talking about. If I will visit Lisbon again, this restaurant will be on my list.
Great steaks, superb service, awesome Mojitos
Perfect place to relax in the afternoon; shade, loads of seating, good cocktails and snacks. Sit in the beanbag chairs and get the pica pau.
In the summer, sitting in the garden feels really great. The steaks are algo very good
