Second time at Suba. Lovely staff. Excellent food. Although the a la carte dishes look small, I was full after the meal! Great servicos, super presentation. Other shops in the tourist centre of Lisbon should take note. The staff here are awesome. They are proud of their products and are more than happy to take a few minutes to explain things and help you make selections. Their offerings of wine, canned fish and ham is exquisite. The prices are ridiculously reasonable. We went here a few times to try things and went back to load up on things to take home. The young man who helped me was hilarious as we tried to translate labels. We were able to try a 40 month cured ham--an experience I will always treasure. If they read their reviews, I&#39;d like to thank them for helping to make my trip to Lisbon so lovely.

There&#39;s one bad review below wrong: this is not a restaurant, it&#39;s not located next to the river and doesn&#39;t serve meals or have seats and it&#39;s not close to the beer museum. Said that, here&#39;s the honest review: This is a great place to buy codfish and ham, selling some of the best quality ham you can find in town. The finest and most expensive ham you can find, will be here, top quality. Presunto Pata Negra Bolota, free-range black pork ham will cost you approx. 150EUR per kilo, with approx 60months cure, and its the best you will taste in your life. They have also a great selection of cheese, and other Portuguese gourmet products, and they can pack everything in vacuum so you can take abroad with you. The place is very small, and many locals buy stuff from here, so sometimes can be packed inside. Be patient. They are friendly and will help you. Not to year there, but to take home. Located behind Rossio Square, you will see the cods at the main entrance.

Great place at Time Out Market to get some fresh prosciutto, bread and cheese with a glass of wine. Highly recommend!
