Edward VII Park is located at the high point of the old city of Lisbon. It is a very open slope. There is a large area of grassland, which is very neatly trimmed, but the grassland is not accessible to visitors. There is also a small children's Park in the park, which is very popular with children. Standing on the slopes of the park, you can overlook the Lisbon Core Area, especially at night.

Edward VII Park is located at the highest point in Lisbon. It has a wide view and is also a good place for people to enjoy leisure and walk their dogs. This is a park in memory of Edward VII's visit to Portugal. Located in the northwest of Marquis Square of Pombar, a monument was erected in the park to commemorate the establishment of democracy.

    里斯本市中心的必去景点之一,从这里可以眺望到远处的太茹河,公园是一大片绿地,向下俯瞰是庞巴尔侯爵广场和自由大道。公园是开放式的,免费。天气睛朗的时候远眺的景色很美。

To the north of the Marquis Square of Pombar is the Parque Eduardo VII / Eduardo VII Park, which was built along the slopes. It was named Edward VII, King of England who visited Portugal in 1902. This is also the epitome of the close political relationship between Britain and Portugal at that time. In the center of the park is a vast lawn, lined by tree-lined avenues. On the top of the slope is a sculpture to commemorate Portugal's overthrow of fascist rule and the establishment of a democratic coup, named "Awakening on April 25, 1974". Standing on the top of the slope, overlooking the foot, the lawn of Edward VII Park is like a huge green blanket, directly under the foot of the white Marquis of Pompal statue, and the yellow wall hidden in the green trees is the Castle of Saint Jorge. (Castelo de S, o Jorge / St. George s Castle), below which is Baixa Pombalina; far below, the dark blue Tejo River is like a ribbon, with white clouds floating in the blue sky. The scenery is really beautiful.

Parque Eduardo VII / Eduardo VII Park is north of Marquis Pombar Square, the starting point of Lisbon Freedom Avenue. The park is built along a hillside with a large lawn in the center and tree-lined avenues on both sides. On the hillside stands a sculpture of a coup d'etat to overthrow fascist rule and establish a democratic system. The monument is called "Awakening on April 25, 1974". The park's lawn is like a huge green carpet that runs straight to the foot of the white Marquis of Pombar statue. On the far hill, the yellow wall hidden in the green bushes is the Castle of Saint Jorge, and below is the Lower City of Pombar; farther away, the deep blue River Teru is like a ribbon, with white clouds floating in the blue sky. The scenery is absolutely beautiful. There are also botanical gardens in the park, where a pool of clear water, a few wild ducks and swans are leisurely inside; one end of the pool is sculpted with a statue of the sea horse goddess, the other end is a flower house, where visitors can have a rest and recreation. To Lisbon, Edward VII Park is one of the must-see attractions.

The subway can be directly accessible. It's a place where Riess himself usually takes a walk and relaxes. When I went there, I was holding an open-air book exhibition. It was very lively. There are also many snack shops and drinks shops. Well-behaved parks, however, are good in Portugal. They often hold activities because they are close to Bombar Square.

At the first stop in Lisbon, I went to the park. Because of the Christmas atmosphere, there were many more facilities and Ferris wheels. I especially like the position on the top of the park. I can see many beautiful sceneries, especially the blue sky + castle!
